In May of this year I came across this cool track on Instagram. I added it to my library and was literally playing it on repeat at the gym during my workouts. I loved it so much I went back and found the artist and left a comment saying how much I loved the track. Just a few weeks later the artist (@diegryn) reached out, and asked, should we collaborate? We managed to coordinate a time to make a video call, Die Gryn in Barcelona, me in Sydney. In July I recorded my vocals and somehow in August I ended up in Barcelona. And on the same day that we met in person for the first time we shot these images for Vroom Vroom. Couldn’t have happened without a really lovely group of people! Die Gryn’s track ‘Vroom Vroom ‘ was already so fully formed but when we asked me if I’d like to feature on it I said yes absolutely and that I’d love to write my own verse. We talked about some of our favourite pop collaborations of late, from Dua and Troye to Charli and Ariana and took inspiration from them. I wanted my verse to be a different perspective. Thank you Die Gryn for having me on your tune 🎵
