I can't believe I'm finally getting to share this project with the world. I first had the idea for this concept video a year ago and I feel like it's been all I've thought about since then so seeing it up on screen finally was such a surreal moment.

I wanted my concept video to connect with people no matter their background or history. I think each person can find their own story within the video and the music and I think that's what makes it so beautiful.
I have so much to say about this video and this song, the history behind it, stories from my life, and everything that led up to making this video, but I have no idea how to say it all so I'll leave it at this:
Don't ever do anything because someone tells you it's 'right', it's your life and you should only ever do what lights you up inside. There's no point to fall into a constant loop of being around people or places that dim you, sometimes the best thing to do is get out and learn how to let go and move on.

I want to say the biggest thank you to Millie and Seaera for perfectly capturing my vision and for putting your all into this. I couldn't imagine anyone else telling this story and I am so grateful for you two trusting me so much <3
Thank you Priya for listening to all my crazy ideas and for literally making this video into what it is, you're actually a wizard when it comes to videography and editing, so blessed to have you in my life <3

Thank you to everyone that made these last 10 months so special. Dance means nothing without the people you share it with, and I’m so grateful to have shared this time with so many beautiful souls 🫀

this one is special. the love for dance was evident in the room every time we danced together. @moebrody say’s that one thing that makes this career so enjoyable is doing it with your friends, and she’s so right🫀

these past 10 months have been a gift.

ITP!!!
My dear friends, my people, my family this has been such a journey.
I couldn’t have asked for a more incredible group of dancers to mess up with in class, share our creative ideas, or wake up at ridiculous hours of the morning to catch our ferry. You’ve shown me warmth, community, compassion, and so much love. This is ours to cherish ITP. 🫶
To our lovely mentors, you’ve given us safe spaces to relate together, goof off, and simply have someone by our sides. The best role models and friends ever.

And Moe, Thank you for showing your passion and guidance this whole year. ITP has been a dream and a blessing because of you. Who else could pull off the coolest outfits and also be sipping on a diet coke at 11 am in rehearsal with me!

just like that this chapter is over. My time apart of @harbourdanceitp has been nothing short of amazing.

To my talented and beautiful friends whom I got to dance with these past 10 months… thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being my family for not just this year but for a lifetime. I truly love each of you and am grateful for each of you and what each of you have brought into my life. I cherish every single one of you. I’ll miss making so many memories everyday in studio 2.

To our mentors @anna.roberts_ @katiepre @alyssadeldegan thank you for being my built in best friends from day 1. Your countless advice and motivation does not go unseen and I truly love you each!

To our teachers- @treyvindean @chanellacasse @greerwhi @keiran.bohay (and so many more) thank you for installing so much growth into my in the past 10 months! You each taught me something I will take with me, not only related to dance but also to life. Your devotion to the work has been such an amazing example and I truly appreciate you each.

Lastly thank you to @moebrody for more than I can say in words. Thank you for giving me this opportunity, thank you for letting me be in a space to grow as a person and as a dancer. And thank you for your endless support and guidance!
