“£20 for who ever sweeps 🧹 Coach”

This comp was created a few months back at BAMA HQ

Why? u might ask…

@kenny.furtado in all the years of training with me has never swept me

many have tried non have succeeded

Til yesterday 6th August 2026 @diermic_official
swept n dumped me 👀🤦🏽‍♂️😂👏

& it was @eviebrook_ who captured the scene with so much Joy 👀💃🏼🤩🤣👏🏻

Definitely one of the funniest moments ever recorded,
as afterwards, Brookie quickly announced it to the crew & sent the footage over for everyone to watch 🍿

The 3 of were still in HQ laughing, belly cramping n crying rewatching the round

The funniest part was me looking at her shocked knowing full well she had the 🎥 in hand recording, whilst trying to explain & justify how the sweep wouldn’t of happened, stuttered …Brookie’s reply 🖕🏾 WATEVERRRRR Coach 🤣 I had nowhere to hide 🤦🏽‍♂️

I got my 🧹 back on D quick tho 🕺😜 & made it quits

Anyways it’s too good not to share the clip

so enjoy & make sure you get yourself down to HQ as you wanna train with purpose progress improve & share in memories like this 😉

See you & SWEEP you all at HQ soon 🥷🏽😜👊🏾

Much love to you all always
Coach Chris 😉

The Crucible (Hale, part two)…

After first playing Reverend John Hale at drama school, getting the chance to come back to him again and this time explore his full arc was a real gift. Massive thanks to @collectiveactingstudio and to cast for welcoming me in so warmly from the off. A proper joy to work with such a talented and generous bunch of incredible actors. I felt very lucky to have worked with you all. Thank you for everything! Can’t believe it’s over already. Here’s hoping this isn’t the last time we get to tell this story. Until then… witch please, Hale out (again)!

my first interclub, 31.05.26 🏆

so many words of gratitude I owe to everyone involved in this journey thus far! I picked up Muay Thai in July 2024 to give me something to focus on, to stabilise my mental health and offer a consistent source of physical exercise

I’m an athlete by nature but Muay Thai is such a beautiful art. I’m grateful I’ve been able to learn and understand it in such an environment that is @bama_clapham

we’ve been working hard up until this point, thank you to Chris, Bruno, D, Evie, Mike, Marissa, Destiny, Kyle and everyone at the club who I train with, laugh with or spar with — couldn’t have got here without the constant encouragement

thank you to my family and friends that came to support :)

This is beyond the sport though, it’s about throwing yourself into new challenges and being able to see the results of applied skills!

The new swag is crazy, big ups @fightsupplies for getting my gear to me on timeee

green, black & yellowww bc there’s still a bigger fight we’re reckoning widd 🇯🇲

black, red & green you know what I representtt 🌍

This short documentary captures what it really takes to step into the ring, when no one’s watching and nothing is guaranteed.

Respect to @diermic_official who trusted me to tell his story.
