LOST CLUBS 🪩 HIDDEN

This place was easily one of my favourite clubs in Vauxhall. No matter what time you rocked up, you knew you’d bump into some of the Gravesend crew tucked away in the dark corners, skanking under ceilings dripping with sweat. It always felt like home this place!

Endless chats with complete strangers in the smoking area and meeting some absolute characters. We was making memories that have stayed with me ever since. I genuinely miss this gaff.

Walking out at 6am into the Vauxhall morning light, ears ringing and a massive smile on my face already knowing I’d be back the following weekend to do it all over again.

LOST CLUBS 🪩 SeOne

SeOne opened its doors in 2002 after redevelopment of an earlier venue called The Drome. This place was known for holding some of the best events in UK history, with its maze of underground tunnels and arches with multiple rooms it certainly lived up to the hype.

But this place was most famously known for its Raindance Events @raindancerave (One of the longest rave organisations in Britain) You could hear it all, hardcore, jungle, drum and bass, house and breakbeat all under one roof.

Though the venue closed down in 2010 it’s legacy lives on. @raindancerave didn’t let the closure get in their way, as they are still banging out some of the sickest raves to this day in other venues such as @fabriclondonofficial

This scene is capturing the moment When your the last man standing and your mates want to go home.. do you stay or do you go? 😉Best drop another one and keep party going 🎉

Lost Clubs 🪩 Proud2 at The O2

I first raved here when it was Matter and they had them strobe lights built in the floor which messed ya head up fantastically, but I made even more memeories during the Proud2 years. It had that iconic caged walkway at the top overlooking the all the madness below on the dance floor.

One rave I do remember in particular was Bass Heavy (One Nation & Innovation) back in 2011, that place was shaking wall to wall. But for me the best part was the smoking area 🤣 them beds you could just chill on buzzing out your nut whilst bunning a zoot desperately trying not get caught by security.

I know it’s called Building Six now but I’m just paying homage to the times before

L🅾️ST CLUBS — a new series celebrating the legendary clubs that once shaped nights across the UK. I loved creating the “LOST PUBS” series and shining a light on those iconic spots that are sadly no longer with us… and don’t worry, there’s still more to come from that collection too. Hope you lot are enjoying these as much as I am 🤣

First up is the legendary Coronet, Elephant & Castle. I was there for so many unforgettable raves: Breakin Science, Jungle Mania, birthday bashes and countless of other nights that deserve a mention. When it came to drum & bass, this place sounded unreal.

The Coronet closed its doors in 2018 after 145 years standing as one of London’s sickest venues, and it’s safe to say nothing quite replaced it.

Deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of raving there.
