POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

TYSON went to Mumbai. And what a ride.

Very happy to share that Tyson was selected among 1479 entries from across India to the Top 25 scripts for the SWA Pitch Fest 2026 and it also made it to the Top 6 for the SWA Script Lab.

What followed was two wonderfully exhausting, exhilarating and slightly surreal days of pitching Tyson to 40 production houses — 40 rooms, 40 conversations, 40 attempts to make people see the film that has been living in my head for sometime. 😄

But the real highlight was meeting the 25 wonderful writers who were part of the Pitch Fest. Two days of stories, nerves, conversations, commiserations, laughter and the strange camaraderie that comes from putting something you've lived with for months in front of complete strangers and saying, “Okay… here it is.”

For a filmmaker who has spent far too much time alone with his scripts, it was quite something to finally step out into the world with one.

A huge thank you to the wonderful team at @swaindiaorg, and especially @cinema_is_forever, @meetmshah and @sanchitdahake for creating such a generous space for writers and filmmakers.

And to all the fellow writers I met — thank you for making the two days what they were.

Tyson is still kicking. 🐃

Onwards.

The wonderful cohort of writers at the 2026 SWA Pitchfest, from across the country, each with an amazing story that will hopefully soon find a way into the world.

What fun it was to meet them all. The high of the two days is yet to subside. Thanks @swaindiaorg ❤️🤟

What a ride this has been so far. Honoured to make it to the Top 25 of @swaindiaorg 's 2026 Feature Film Script Lab & Pitch Fest, and to be on this list with some of the finest new voices (and lovely people). Upwards, and onwards.

Thank you @cinema_is_forever @meetmshah @sanchitdahake and all the wonderful people at SWA!
