A lil May personal photo dump 🥰

Keeping balance on this platform can be really challenging. Yes, I’m working. I photographing weddings, family sessions, branding sessions and commercial products BUT I’m also living my life at the same time and I like to share that too.

One piece of advice I really took seriously from the start of my business was to protect my calendar. Not to cram it full and take on every single inquiry that came my way. The result would be extreme burnout if I did.

So here’s a small peek into what I’ve been enjoying in between working, returning emails and editing ☺️

Life Lately….

I’m thankful and grateful to have my family home with me during the summer, no two summers have been the same over the last few years. I’m embracing the “slowness” in between peak wedding seasons and taking all the opportunities to spend time with my people is this beautiful city we call home ❤️

Can’t start the New Year without looking back over our year as a family. 2022 was challenging from the start but as a family we grew together & supported one another through those challenges, celebrating victories along the way. To know where we’re going we have to acknowledge we’re we’ve been. What worked, what didn’t. I love this time of year for the reflection, it’s more than just making resolutions, it’s having gratitude and keeping the path open for what’s ahead. Happy New Year Friends and cheers to a Fresh Start, let’s goo 📣

It’s hard to believe that she’s 17 y.o. The day she was born is still one of the most clear memories I have!! I woke up extra early to make @traderjoes Chocolate croissants for her….she’s not a big cake fan at all. Sorry I don’t have an after pic of them, we devoured them with our morning coffee!

We also celebrated with an AMAZING steak dinner @ruthschris It was our first time dining there and I wasn’t sure what to expect but we ALL agreed it was an experience to remember and we’ll be returning for future celebrations!!

HBD to our Pride & Joy , @cami_brxght we love you so much Babe!
