FIFO Worker, 2024. “A lone FIFO (fly-in fly-out) worker lies on the floor in isolation at Perth Airport, using a bag as a makeshift pillow. Harsh fluorescent light beams from above, and a stark white wall serves as a backdrop as the worker takes advantage of the airport’s limited power outlets—a brief moment of attempted rest in the early hours of the morning before the journey ahead. An excerpt from an ongoing series documenting the realities of FIFO work in Western Australia.”

Recently I had the pleasure of speaking at an anti-conference held at @margaretriverheart hosted by @emergencecreative It was such a blast to meet WA creative peeps.

I shared a stage with these 3 amazing peeps:

@jasoncapobiancophotography aka my husband.
@ivanshawstudio aka not my husband but someone else’s husband.
Moderator @jennifer_halton - Director Int @waapa.ecu aka the best moderator I’ve worked with…ever.
.
Thru this event I met many fun & like minded Perth creatives & now I’ve started my very own Formula One @f1 Perth fan club 🥹🙏🏼🏁🏎️ Dream Come true! @f1_gtt
.
BIG THANK YOU to Mat Lewis @suite_spot.creative_ for being brave & invited me to participate so I can test my jokes on stage 🤣🤡🙄🎤

We still need a little help to keep Freocast on air and thriving. If you like what we are doing you can support in a number of ways, sign up as a FRIEND, FOLLOWER, FUNDER or make a DONATION!

Any contribution goes a long way. We can’t believe how far we’ve come with the support of the community!

🧡

Thanks to local legends @focuspocuslab for the Polaroid hook up!

In this series, I’m exploring the concept of masculine energy embracing the freedom and expression found in dress form. It’s all about breaking those societal norms and celebrating the beauty in diversity. ✨👗💃🏻😎

🤍 cheers to all the men who have posed for the series so for. My heart is exploding with gratitude.

👗‘MEN IN DRESSES’ coming 2024

@_lok_art X @arielkatzir

🧠 I’ve already lernt so much from working with @_lok_art. Like how to prime paper, best place to get art materials from, how rice, chocolate and ice-cream could be a dessert dish in itself. More collabs coming up.

👕Seen wearing @harry.digital @digitalcreators_au 👀 clothing collab 🤫 shhhh
