We are excited to welcome Patrick Boyle (@digitalvagabond) to the KMG team as an Artist Manager!

After twenty years traversing the various summits and vast swamps of the music and arts industry, Patrick has emerged on the other side with a broad technical skillset, interwoven with a hands-on, artist-first approach to management. His background spans creative direction, live event production, broadcast engineering, visual and scenic design, post production and sfx, and the technical systems that bring ambitious ideas from concept to stage and screen.

TOWR Media, Patrick’s team of multidisciplinary designers have solved a wide array of creative problems with Kompass over the years. From developing visual identities and producing live events, to designing one of a kind multimedia experiences and bridging the gap between artists and the technical teams bringing their ideas to life. That same approach now informs Patrick’s work in artist management, where creative development, production, strategy, and good old-fashioned problem solving rarely exist in a vacuum. With the success of many collaborations between the TOWR Media and Kompass teams over the years, it became clear that artist management would be the next plot on the map for Patrick to explore.

There are a thousand things that had to happen for these moments to exist.

Camp Alderwild was a culmination of weeks of work for some, months for many, and years, decades even for a select few. The empathic joy of watching those people hit a home run is unbelievable. The hardest hikes have the best views. An undeniable peak, paired with the inescapable feeling that somehow, this is just the beginning.

A week full of friends I love rising to their potential, people I respect reminding me exactly why, and new faces becoming fast friends.
🫂
There is divine pleasure in getting to know another human by sweating with them and smiling with them. I’m grateful for the gift of gaining perspective on people, who are essentially coworkers, by toasting wine in celebration with the people they love.

So, what did we learn at Camp this summer?

When you’re surrounded by people who set your heart on fire, working on things that set your hearts on fire, that warmth radiates through time and space. It draws others toward its center like moths to a flame. I am both a moth, and I am one who gleefully stokes the fire.

Got the pleasure of being able to fabricate the DJ table and also put it all together on site with all the extra deco @dark.moon.designs built, alongside being able to run lasers for the official after party. @campalderwild was honestly an amazing time venue is killer sad that’s the last one there but hopefully they bring me back next year 🫶🏽💯 MAYBE TO DO MAINSTAGE ??
