little summer run around the corner ☀️⚔️ i really be giving my all to these kids during the school year (+ school system’s are still awful places) so i tend to slow down creatively during the spring, and summer finds me burnt out & depressed to be most sincere . in rebuttal, we hit the ground running in june, sharing this curious sono-linguistic nonsense and sacrosanct alchemical wisdom with the good people, for self-care and in honor of the grand creative will .

this year, we begin next friday - juneteenth - in the gifted company of @shrapknel and @camgnarly courtesy of the beloved @beatcinema family

the next day, celebrating four years of @burgersnbeatsla with another fat lineup of loved ones and special guests

followed by LESS at @digitaldebrisvideogallery alongside my dear colleague @dick.chainey and the prolific @wunthr_ celebrating @idontgotnograbba birth via the thoughtful curation of @digsforloops

with a brief apparition in washington to rap with fresh air in my lungs at least once this year, supporting the battle-hardened brotherly vanguard of @rhyslangston & @fatboi_sharif

then returning in july to host and read briefly from a crumbling grimoire at @storiesbooksandcafe among hand-chosen scholars for best coast book club

and flying to new york to bow deeply to the spirit of hip-hop at @houseofaura_nyc and @secretpour with brother @pureunderstanding and many folks i’m very much looking forward to rapping alongside

varying sets and guests and such so catch a few dates for a full understanding of my neurodivergence . thank you for your patience . more new music very soon

and it’s still free frankie jax nomad with every breath until this man is out of a cell; donate to that gofundme

More appropriation posting. Huge Shout Out to @exileradio @bluherfavcolor for letting me be part of there @lodgeroom event. Such an honor to get to be a visualist for them as well as beasts like @djnumark @_sirplus_ @inka_one @open_mike_eagle and many others. In a lot of ways, their thing feels like a proper DIY punk scene. It’s music with a message, and they release their own records, put on their own shows, give respect to OGs while encouraging new talent, make merch locally ext. Also wanna give big thanks to @hellostrangerla for letting me host the monthly VHS Tape and Record Swap, big up to @frawgy_gunso @burnthetopiary @illixie @skyscraper_rules @digsforloops and @thesmokinwolf323 on the sound. Thank you all so much for sharing your creativity and skills. Much appreciation to all our rad vendors always. Last but never least, all the love in the world to my wonderful girlfriend @anna_katrina_art for supporting and inspiring me, and for sharing in all of life’s adventures. So thankful for all the opportunities to make art, build things, be inspired, and participate in something positive. 🙏🙏🙏

Quite illy indeed to lace this Finesseful jawn effectively sharing the loveliness working with the big bruh @pawcut for the extra cool folks at @digitaldebrisvideogallery in LA where our expressions were basked in shimmering movement in only the way the homie Michael who runs the spot can. Biggups to @yaddyme for capturing these moments, and for @digsforloops for hosting. Was great to be in the mix with @wunthr_ ⚡️ @alphthaalien ⚡️ @rileylinc ⚡️ @the_zlorngler and the whole very dope assemblance of emcees who got down on the night. Many thanks to those who copped some PS vinyl, cassettes, t-shirts and art for their collections, still ping-ponging round LA making dope things happen on some radio and record shop steez with some cool peeps like @boom_bap_and_beyond @crazytal3nt @harveygoldkill @ranchbrickey @nomorenancy and a few more cool people. “New York is saxophones”
