Our first New York table read was a success! Had so much fun meeting so many talented actors and hearing our scripts read out loud. Should MFP take on NYC next…? 👀🤔

We did it! SLICED is wrapped (been wrapped). Took our time to catch our breath over here, but this one deserves praise. Every indie short is its own mini miracle and this one is no different. This work was impossible without the support of so many artists and collaborators. Here’s a shoutout to the folks who stitched this together and believed in a story that centers Washington DC youth. Our communities are our responsibility and the creatives who showed up to pull this off proved that point. Grateful and humbled by the generosity and talent of this stellar cast & crew. On to post-production! Inspired by real stories of DC youth and the pandemic of violence affecting this population. One of the key goals of our KLECKSOGRAPHY projects is to create community and help artists put down roots in DC—so emails like this are THE BEST! So happy to see these awesomely talented artists continue to hang out. KLECKSOGRAPHY 2025 coming this August! #dctheatre

Carole Debut 💛 getting to step into Carole’s shoes felt like finally sitting down over a good cup of coffee with that one close friend you’ve been trying to connect with for a long time. And I got to do it alongside some of the most incredibly kind and talented people I’ve ever met. And, as if I wasn’t spoiled enough, I got to do so in some of the original costumes I’ve seen my idols wear. haha what. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. Thank you @reaglemusictheatre @rachelbertone for the opportunity to live out a dream. and to sing Chains. especially Chains.

Flowers from friends, clown noses, haikus, goats, and a massive chair. I’m a lucky gal. Kicking insecurity out the door for good. 🌷
