POV: brushing your teeth is a whole routine over here 🦷✨

My complete oral-care routine because a quick brush just doesn’t feel complete anymore 😭

Started with my water flosser to clean between my teeth and along my gumline, then rinsed + gargled with my diluted peroxide/water rinse.

Next, I cleaned/rinsed my toothbrush before brushing — because knowing what can become airborne in a bathroom has permanently changed me 😭😂

Then:
🪥 TheraBreath Deep Clean toothpaste
💦 TheraBreath Deep Clean mouthwash
✨ Finished up the rest of my routine with IGLO Smiles

Clean teeth, fresh breath & that just left the dentist feeling. 🦷🫧

What’s the ONE step in your oral-care routine you absolutely refuse to skip?

A braid hack I learned from Eva Marcille years ago and NEVER stopped doing 😭🙌🏾

After I finish my box braids, I lightly steam them with a clothes steamer. It helps the braids loosen up, move more freely and gives them that soft, FLOWY look instead of feeling so stiff. ✨

I do this with both synthetic AND human-hair box braids.

⚠️ Please be careful: Steam is HOT. Do not hold the steamer directly against your hair or too close to your scalp/skin. Keep it moving and keep a safe distance while letting the steam pass over the braids.

One of those little tricks that makes such a difference. 🤌🏾

Have you ever steamed your braids before?

Started these braids with a plan… then life started life-ing 😂

Errands, breaks, food, sleep, more errands… somewhere in between all that, I finished my hair 😭😂

But the RESULT?! 😍

How long do you think these would’ve taken me if I actually sat still? 👀

Normally I don’t use box die but I needed something quick and got some hair color from Dollar tree 🌳 😂

Yes @dollartree !!!

I was surprised as well!

Disclaimer: box color is hard to remove so don’t do it unless you know for sure you’re not looking to lighten your hair ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

🎉 First day of 4th grade for my baby girl Jay Jay! 💕✨

Getting her ready was a breeze thanks to the @myrevair Reverse Air Dryer — it makes stretching her 4C curls so much faster, gentler, and way less stressful for both of us.

As moms, we know wash day can be a whole workout 😅… but with the right tools, it doesn’t have to be.
✨ Less tangles
✨ Less heat damage
✨ More time to actually enjoy these special moments with our kids

I love that I can style her hair with confidence, knowing her curls will still thrive and stay healthy.

Here’s to a school year full of growth, confidence, and good hair days! 🌸📚

Tag a mama who needs this reminder that wash day can be easier. 💬

💧 Low porosity 4C hair? Hydration starts before shampoo.
I soak my hair in warm water for 5 mins to gently open the cuticles + let moisture fully absorb.
This makes cleansing less drying, boosts elasticity, and reduces breakage.
Healthy hair starts with hydration, not just products. 💦

I mean these things take time lol

I read somewhere that statistically people who are always late are likely to be successful or they’re smart I forget which one but both sound good to me lol 😂
