AND IT’S A WRAP!!! 🎬...

My staycation has finally come to an end 😭. It was filled with love, joy, and celebration of life! Always a good time with @powersquadja and it was amazing making memories with some new souls that I’ll never forget. This was definitely one to remember and it was right inna wi backyaad!

Lesson learnt? It’s super important to take some time for yourself...can’t wait until the next one.

If you are reading this...CONGRATS ON MAKING IT THROUGH 2020!!! 🎉 🎊 . I think most of us hoped 2020 would be “our” year...but life threw us a curve ball and it was the year that no-one expected. But an important lesson I learnt this year is the power of perspective. There is no rainbow without the storm that brews before. Even though we look at the rain negatively sometimes we forget that these droplets water the blooming opportunities waiting to happen.
This year the fanfare and less important things were washed away from our lives and we were forced to concentrate on what was truly important. More focus on ourselves and those around us and not taking anyone’s presence in our lives for granted.
This year I have learned to be more self sufficient but learnt that it is ok to accept support. I have broken bridges, repaired damaged ones and built new ones. I have lost love, been reminded of love that has always been there and gained in new ways I could only dream of.
All in all 2020 is the year that was, but the year that was necessary. And looking back I actually achieved everything I truly wished for...just not in the way I expected. These are just some of the people that made it amazing for me. Cheers to 2020 being in the past and 2021 being that rainbow that we all hope for. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! #happynewyear #2021 #grateful
