What a day!!

Plenty of chaos around the dj gear- but we settled in with much thanks to a whole bunch of good samaritans.

WOW!! We had such a great turnout in numbers but mostly in support and non-stop vibes all the way from 13.00 straight through to the game starting at 22.00 (⚽️🧡🇳🇱).

TRUE SCHOOL HELMOND- a true success.

Thanks @muziekcafehelmond and all the performers and their support acts. You guys came from far and wide to support our rising community in Helmond.

Special thanks to our TEAM- @d_fish_pimmetje_de_wilde @elmarinosbeats @speed_one_mc

@mcibeats.info @ming.wav @dj_dns @extince @missdjqt @dj_baldy_ @gillymarciano91 @fate46music @beastwalkerr @royaalrecords @royaal.rr @felisa_nl @santinosimpel 0492ruud @wolluf92 @brecks_vdt.mp dhr_ck @winiomusic @jessejoeyjames @kuoisdestatus @alex_777familia

Thanks to Extince for his sweet shout out and gift. A real collectors item from a special and humble human being ❤️ and the generous DNS who figured out how to stop TEARS. 😘

The audience- I saw you! I know who was there and it means a great deal that you came to support. Please keep doing that. WE NEED YOU! 🙏

About yesterday: the Yukkie B Tribute night at Duiveltje. Latere generatie MC's uit Bims Riffo Revolver, Bennie Bang, Wally World, Lester.
Big up Maddson for da link up & helpen met plannen! 🙏🏼💯 We hebben gister zijn leven gevierd, zijn epic portret overhandigt om een mooie vaste plek te krijgen in het enige Hiphopcafe in NL where everybody knows your name & they allways glad you came! Salute Yuksel, BPP 4 life, if you know you know🙏🏼🕊💯👑

During GROF on Saturday March 21 at Poppodium De Meester, it was announced that Elcamino wouldn’t be performing. Even with that setback, organizer MC DRT still managed to put together a solid night.

Doors opened at 20:00 with DJ Los Carlos, who set the tone with classic oldschool hiphop and kept the energy going throughout the night, returning between sets and closing things off around 01:00.

The first live act was Guvnor Jor & Friends, the only act I already knew from the ByTheBooks events in De Meester. They came in strong and brought immediate energy to the room. They definitely set the vibe for the rest of the night.

After that, DJ Los Carlos stepped back in before RBDJAN took the stage, followed by Party G The Humble and Gun$moke. Gun$moke stood out to me the most, his sound was strong and memorable, and I’d definitely recommend checking him out on SoundCloud.

The night built up to the headliners, Cali Agents (Planet Asia & Rasco), who closed the live shows with raw energy and a heavy oldschool feel. They were also selling merch and LPs at the bar and signing them after, which made it feel very personal.

Host Jojo Wavy played a big role in keeping the crowd engaged and in the right vibe. When he told people to move forward, they actually did,he really brought that sense of community.

There was also a stand from Rapshop.nl present the whole night, where people were digging through vinyl from Dutch to international hiphop, plus merch like rap socks.

The crowd stayed locked in all night. I only knew Guvnor Jor & Friends beforehand, so this event really introduced me to the rest of the lineup in a strong way.
It was a beautiful day to be alive.
