Coming back home to South Florida to keep pouring into my roots, nothing better!💯

Spent band camp with “The Force💙🩶” & “Take 1 Percussion🎬☝🏾” at my alma mater, Dillard High School. I’ve been blessed to stay active in community service lately, but this one’s a personal favorite because I’m a drumline addict, let’s be real 🥁😂.

It’s about more than the music; it’s about mentoring the next wave, creating a safe creative space, and watching them push past every limit. Incredible things ahead for these kids!

The Class Sponsor’s Speech & Dedication

It’s been nearly two weeks since I gave my final salute 🫡 and raised my paws 🐾 to the graduating class of 2025 of Dillard High School (6-12) …
and I’m still in ahh! 😯

Being a mentor, motivator and sometimes mother to over 400 scholars was hard but well worth the effort 🫶🏾… I only pray that they take the deposits I’ve made to each of them and cash in on what I said to help them wherever they are in life.

I never got a chance to hear my own words (when you’re nervous and want to cry, you’re just trying to get through it all )

Receiving texts, inboxes and calls saying “You did awesome” meant a lot.

Someone sent me a snippet of my speech 🎤 and I finally got a chance to hear my own words.

As Class Sponsor /Advisor of Dillard’s Senior Class of 2025 I hope I made them proud 🥲 because they undoubtedly made me one proud honorary member of 20/25 #PawsUp 🐾

✨CROSSOVER 2025 RECAP — A Night to Remember 💙🐾

On May 29th, 2025, history was made at the 1st Annual Dillard Crossover & Pinning Ceremony, where we celebrated the Class of 2025 as they officially joined the Dillard High Alumni Association.

The evening was a powerful blend of faith, honor, tradition, and legacy — filled with music, movement, and messages that reminded us just how deep Dillard excellence runs.

We honored three pillars of Panther pride:
🏆 Judge Zebedee Wright – 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award
🏆 Coach Marcia Pinder (in memoriam) – 2025 Legendary Award
🏆 The Class of 1960–1965 – Resilience Award
🏆 Coach Johnny Alexander Community Pillar Award

From the dramatic opening procession to the pinning of our seniors and the final charge to rise, the energy in the room was electric. Our students were not just celebrated — they were commissioned. They left the stage knowing who they are, where they come from, and how far they can go.

💙 Thank you to our incredible sponsors — especially 1907 Collection, The Marcia Pinder Foundation, Isaac Bruce Foundation, and the entire Dillard High Alumni Association for making this vision possible. Your support ensured this night was not only meaningful, but memorable.
