POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Exactly one month ago today, we finally came home. 🏡✨

I tell you this from my emotional processing station, aka my soaking tub. (Hence the picture)

It’s taken 30 days and approximately 20 baths to even post, but after 17 months away, we are back. HOME!!!!!

There’s still a ways to go, but being here and knowing my fear of finally getting here and then it not feeling like home was completely unfounded, is the greatest gift!

Then there is the story behind our exact move-in date. After our family separating and bouncing around for a few weeks and hitting every roadblock imaginable not knowing when we’d all be back under the same roof, God’s timing hit the exact date on the nose. I knew I shouldn’t have even tried to get home before the 22nd or 24th and even told friends I bet no matter what I do it ends up being one of those dates, so when it was I had to dig into the meaning behind the numbers. IYKYK

To top off the irony, the day after we moved in, for the first time since, Aaron had to fly right back to where he was when the fire happened. You just have to laugh. 😂 Or at least I did when he texted me in a panic asking if everything was okay and saying he had missed a call from the same neighbor who let him know the house was on fire in the first place. 😂 I’m glad we find a way to giggle through trauma because I feel like we will be unpacking this one and our boxes for a long while. Also how funny is the stat about the second half of the year in the third slide? Considering we have celebrated this made up holiday for nearly a decade and our first house guest was here as part of said celebration? I just love how every season of life is somehow woven together in the details if you look for the God winks. 😉 Or tie everything together and the rest of the world thinks it’s a coincidence……I don’t care, I love it and I’ll never stop!!! 🥰

Not sure how we got here so fast, but my heart is so full watching these kids grow into who they are. The time may have flown, but the peace I feel knowing who they’ve become—and the people surrounding them—makes it all a little easier to hold. #motherhood #prom #seniorsunday #junior @elyse_jz, @dillon_zarle

Tonight, for the first time in over a week I will go to sleep under the same roof as all of my children. I love their fearless ways but I gotta say my cortisol levels prefer to have them all in the same country, above sea level and their feet on the ground at the same time. What a blast Spring Break has been though!

So proud of this kiddo and his hard work! @dillon_zarle has earned a full ride to become a firefighter paramedic. 🚒 Our family is so grateful to @cfypinellas and #crawfordker for this opportunity! ❤️

Nothing brings on nostalgia quite like flipping through my kids’ childhood Christmas photos.

If you didn’t have a heated game of Thanksgiving themed Family Feud was it even a holiday?!
