Hi friends, we started a business :)

After a decade of working as private college essay coaches, we (Simone & Dillon) have found two things to be true:

1. College essays are a unique assignment that most students don’t fully understand.
2. Getting help with this assignment is often incredibly expensive, further stacking an already unfair system.

So we set out to create a different option. Alongside mastermind @bradleymilller, we’ve poured our hearts into @playingfieldco: an hour-long masterclass and 40-page companion workbook that walks students step-by-step through the exact process we use with our private clients.

What is it they say? To be seen is to be loved?

Had the absolute best 30th surrounded by my very truest friends and family (minus a few that succumbed to 🤒). Whether it’s a matcha bowl I mentioned months ago, driving all day from DC, throwing a party at my neighborhood watering hole ft all my favorite things, a game created to test my sleuthing abilities, a genuinely kind message, or a sweet girl INSISTING I needed birthday cupcakes…. I felt the love deep to my core.
