Top 3 Boards: @dillonstephens - Skate & Explore Medellín
We asked each rider to rank their three favorite boards from the trip.

3 - Rally Kitty
“The Rally Kitty really surprised me with how comfortable and easy it was to ride. When we took the gondola up into the crisscrossing hilly neighborhoods, I was riding the Rally Kitty and it felt perfect for this type of terrain. Even though it was some serious downhill stuff, I was able to control my speed with stand-up slides very easily and navigate the ever-changing terrain.”

2 - Schooner
“The nose and tail made it awesome for popping on and off the endless features in Medellín, and the huge wheels opened up so many more spots that would have been impossible without them. It’s super fast and agile, the perfect size for exploring and weaving through a busy city.”

1 - Switchblade
“I chose the Switchblade because this has always been my go-to downhill freeride board. Nice big platform for a wide stance and drop deck to really lock your feet onto the board.”

Watch Dillon and the rest of the crew put them to work in Skate & Explore Medellín, out now on YouTube.

Two slasher champions from back in the day! Dillon Stephen’s won the 1st slasher back in 2009 and Kevin Reimer won at the 2nd slasher 2010 and 5th slasher in 2013. Will they ever come back for some fun?

What’s the best board for learning to bomb hills? 🛹

We get this one a lot. In the livestream we talk through what actually helps at speed, and why boards like the Evo and Switchblade are solid starting points.
