Norfolk Botanical Garden | Garden of Tomorrow

Surreal to get to spend the afternoon in this landscape I had a hand in designing.

The outdoor spaces come to life in the crisp fall air with so many spots to enjoy the view and time together with friends and family.

A glimpse into the future… and it is extraordinary. 🌿✨

We had the opportunity to experience a sneak peek of The Garden of Tomorrow at @norfolkbotanicalgarden —the largest expansion in the Garden’s history.

At the heart of this remarkable new chapter is the 26,000-square-foot Perry Conservatory, home to tropical and desert biomes, rare and threatened plants from around the world, and a permanent collection of @chihulystudio glass art.

It’s a beautiful intersection of nature, art, conservation and thoughtful design—and a transformational moment for one of Norfolk’s most treasured places.

The Garden of Tomorrow is almost ready to welcome you in. And from this first look, it will be well worth the wait. 🌱 Be sure to follow @norfolkbotanicalgarden for up-to-date opening information.

The future is blooming at @norfolkbotanicalgarden. 🌿✨

We were fortunate to get an early look inside The Garden of Tomorrow—the largest expansion in the Garden’s history—and what’s taking shape is truly remarkable.

At its center is the new 26,000-square-foot Perry Conservatory, where tropical and desert landscapes, rare and threatened plants from around the world, and a permanent collection of @chihulystudio glass come together under one spectacular roof.

It’s more than an expansion. It’s a celebration of nature, art, conservation and design—and an exciting new chapter for one of @visitnorfolkva most beloved destinations.

The Garden of Tomorrow is nearly ready to bloom. 🌱✨

Follow @norfolkbotanicalgarden for the latest opening updates and get ready to experience it for yourself.

August at The Suffolk Center is bringing gallery conversations, live theater, and plenty to look forward to. 🎭

First up is Virginia Waterways Talk on August 14, a free Splash exhibit event exploring environmental and cultural approaches to preserving Virginia’s waterways.

Then, the highlight of the month takes the stage as Community Theater at The Suffolk Center presents Cinderella: Enchanted Edition, running August 21–30.

Find event details and tickets through the link in our bio.
