My heart for Bangkok and Thailand continues to grow more and more! I am forever blessed to be able to spend 5 weeks in this beautiful country in trusting God with every step I took. God is working through Thailand in crazy ways and the Thai students are so hungry to hear more! So blessed for the team I got to be with and students I got to become friends with. I will be back soon to continue with the work God is doing here

Thailand, I have no words.

To think that just a few months before this trip, I was questioning everything about it. I wasn’t even sure if I was going to go. Looking back now, saying “yes” turned into one of the biggest blessings.

Throughout the trip there were so many highs and lows—a true rollercoaster of emotions. In the moment, it was hard to see the fruit or recognize how God was working in me. But after taking time to reflect, I can see just how much fruit there really was. God was providing in abundance, not only for me, but for our entire team and the Thai students we had the privilege of meeting. His faithfulness was evident every step of the way, even when I couldn’t see it.

Thank you to everyone who made this trip as incredible as it was. I’ll cherish these memories and the people I got to share them with forever. I love you all. 🤍

Our team has officially left Bangkok 😭

This last week we port our all into evangelism on campus before flying to Chiang Mai to debrief with the four other summer missions that took place in Thailand!

Sucking up the last moments with our Thai friends and having to say goodbye, was one of the hardest things.

With leaving Bangkok our team saw 15 people pray to receive Christ, please pray for the those students and the many others we talked to that haven’t made that decision yet!

We are about halfway through our mission trip in Bangkok! As I’ve reflected on this trip this weekend I’ve realized how much God has moved even though the past 3 weeks have been very challenging spiritually, emotionally, and physically. God has shown me how to trust in Him even though things may not be going as I planned in my head. I’ve learned to be patient and see how he is working even though I have questioned my purpose on this trip.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭28‬ ‭

Through the challenges I’ve grown so much closer to the Lord and seen Him work wonders. In 48 hours we gained 6 new brothers and sisters in Christ! And I’ve been able to have meaningful conversations with Thai students by just using Google Translate and sharing the gospel with them. The Lord will never cease to amaze me and I can’t wait to see how he will move over the remainder of the trip. Please keep our trip and Thailand in your prayers!

same place different gal….
from my first day of freshman year to my last day of class as a freshman, i’ve grown so much. (got my backpack from walmart an hour before i took that first pic; sometimes being Josie is chaotic) i have seen so much of Gods character, soaked in so many moments of beauty in others, creation, music, and community. ive endured some hard days, where every step felt heavy and the future seemed scary and uncertain, ive walked into a few exams underprepared and worried, ive navigated hard relationship dynamics and wrestled with the extent of love i can give as compared to what God can give through me. i have had conversations that widen my understanding of who God is, and who He’s made me to be, and how He’s wired others to reflect Him uniquely. Jesus has met me at the foot of the cross time and time again, and i continue realizing it’s all by Him, to Him, and for Him. i’m still josella grace, i’ve just gone through a little bit more life than the girl in the pink Tshirt. what’s funny is that the message on the shirt “love like Jesus” really was the mantra of this freshman season… may this always be my anthem. to be loved and to love like Christ. i’m teary eyed and grateful 🤍✨💚 thank you Jesus thank you Jesus thank you Jesus.
