I AM PEACE — A Walk Inward

I made this meditation for World Peace Day, and I’m sharing it a day late.

Honestly, that feels fitting.

Because peace is not something we visit once a year.
It’s not a slogan.
It’s not only a hope for the world “out there.”

It’s a practice.
A relationship.
A way of meeting ourselves, and from there, meeting each other.

This 30-minute guided meditation begins with the body.
With noticing what is here.
With remembering a moment when peace was real for us.
Not as an idea, but as a feeling. A presence. A light.

From there, the practice expands outward — imagining that light connecting with others across homes, communities, countries and continents, becoming part of a wider web of peace.

A small but meaningful reminder that how we breathe, how we speak, how we listen, and how we show up in this world all matter.

This offering was created in connection with the #IAMPEACE / Global Peace Walks initiative, with gratitude to the International Spiritual Council for Transforming Humanity (ISCTH) and the wider global peace field it is helping to hold.

WHO DID IT?

Last night, CoCA became the crime scene.
For one evening, Clue moved beyond the screen, into the rooms, corridors and corners of CoCA Symbiosis. People became characters, the space became the board, accusations became part of the play, and somewhere between the game and the film, the line between audience and participant disappeared.
A little murder mystery.
A little cinema.
A lot of play.
And yes… Chinthaka survived long enough to bring the vinyl back to life.

Huge thanks to Lora Willar for bringing the night together, to everyone who stepped into the game, and to all of you who came, played, watched, accused, laughed and made the evening what it was.

It was CoCA. Friday, 19 September. With the coconut scraper.

My Sri Lanka 🇱🇰

Sri Lanka gave me some of the kindest people and the best company I could have asked for.

And honestly, I don’t really understand how you can leave a place and say, “I didn’t like it.”

We have this amazing opportunity to travel, see the world and meet people from completely different backgrounds.

I don’t think there is a single country or city that can simply be “good” or “bad”. It’s not a pair of shoes that either fits your taste or doesn’t. 😂

Try not to look at a place as something that exists to serve you.

You’re not in a shop. You’re not here to buy everything or everyone.

You’re a guest. You came to someone else’s home.

And what you bring with you - your attitude, your energy, your openness - is what you’ll take away with you.

So maybe, in the end, the question is always… about you. ❤️
