Plot Twist! 🇳🇱 The Aberdeins move to Amsterdam!

Today marks two months of relocating from Australia to Amsterdam and what an unreal and wild ride this experience has been. What started off in 2024 as a pipe dream has now become a reality and it still doesn’t feel real. This place has a type of magic to it I can’t explain but hopefully these photos do.

The timing also could not have aligned somehow any better. Getting here just before world pride in the brink of Summer it gave us the opportunity to not only have many of our close friends from back home be here to celebrate pride and see our new home, it gave us the opportunity to meet many new friends through Summer festivities. Missing friends and family back home hit particularly hard at the beginning so having them here a month later really helped the heart. ❤️

Having never moved from where I grew up, putting our whole life into a 30kg bag and booking a one way ticket to the other-side of the world has felt scary but liberating. I couldn’t have done it without my partner in crime @brad_ab. You have supported this dream in every way and with the challenges thrown at us since arriving you have positively been motivated to keep us afloat. I am so happy I get to experience all of this with you.

I am excited to see where this journey takes us and even more so the friendships we will make and the places we will see along the way.

Every night before bed the same thing goes.
“Hey Brad”
“Yesssss Ryan”
“Guess what”
“What Ryan”
“We live in Amsterdam 😘”

That last LAB… 🤯

The energy at our After Dark After Party was absolutely WILD. Packed dancefloor, filthy beats, and the kind of atmosphere you only get at LAB.

Now we do it all again. Save The Dates

⚫️ LAB x FLASH
📅 Saturday 22 August
📍 The Brightside (Full Venue Takeover – Inside + Outdoors)
As thousands of players hit Brisbane for the Bingham Cup, we’re taking over the entire venue for one massive night.

⚫️ LAB ft. Pup Buday [Berlin]
📅 Friday 23 OCTOBER
📍 Wonderland
Powered by BootCo.

Two nights. Two completely different experiences. One underground home.

See you on the dancefloor.

From the townhouse to Australia 🍎🇦🇺

What an incredible time hosting @sonjatmorgan’s first Australian tour with @itdevents

Sonja, thank you for bringing me on this wild ride and being so funny, kind and teaching me that a man should be taking me shopping after any lunch date and that I need to take advantage of complimentary items at every opportunity 💖

Thank you Stephen, Ben, Maddy and the whole extended ITD Events teams Australia wide, the hometown divas who I got to share their stages with, every single person who came to the shows and went out of your way to tell me that you loved it, thank you for making this (not so) little bloke in a wig feel so loved, this was absolute dream come true.

As Lady Morgan would say, onward and upward.
