i lost clooney on saturday. it was sudden, unexpected, but peaceful.

i keep trying to find words big enough for what he meant to me. he saved my life more times than he will ever know. he had more personality and intuition, elements that made him almost human, and yet, distinctly, dog.

he was larger than life, loved harder than anyone on earth, could not comprehend the word “stranger”, and no piece of pizza was safe (or any food, for that matter). big lamby, his bees, never out of reach. pup cups were a love language, every tree peed on, and every flower sniffed. what i wouldn’t give to go on one more run, one more drive with the windows down; to smell you again and bury my nose in your tufty fur. your. teethies. eight years was not nearly enough, though no amount of time ever would have been.

clooney, bubby, angel, lovebug, beeg, my sunshine boy, come find me again. i’ll never stop looking for you.

The newest downtown location @badneighborsbflo is officially open! In what’s felt like a cacophony of bad news in Buffalo’s restaurant scene over the last year, we can’t be more excited for this spot on the corner of Huron and Main St to help bring downtown Buffalo back to life.

Their vast menu offers an expanded menu of your go to bar fares along with smash burgers (the star of the show imo), salads, and vegan friendly options. Just in time for football and hockey season, the full service bar has a few nostalgic cocktails and TVs to watch every game.
