If you missed Unconditional Live last week at Studio Homme, you definitely missed a night to remember. Presented by Toronto's own 44 Sound collective, with headliner GORDON, the night was overflowing with talent, and, complimented by an intimate and interactive atmosphere. I would definitely love to see this happen quarterly, if not monthly, featuring some more of the city's up and coming crooners.

A year ago, I filed for divorce. Since then, I’ve been finding my way back to the parts of myself I never should have abandoned. Healing through betrayal trauma has been messy, emotional, and heartbreaking 💔 As a therapist, it’s certainly given me more lived experience. As a woman, a mother, and an artist, it will never define me as who I am however, it has moulded me in ways I never could have imagined….stronger, more resilient, and more unapologetic than ever before 🙏🏼🥹

A project that started one way, drastically pivoted.
Enter, TONIA EVANS 🙏🏼🥹

🥰 RUNNING UP THAT HILL is now LIVE on all digital platforms. 🎶 VIDEO COMING SOON 🎥

If there’s one thing this season has taught me, it’s that crying, falling down, and feeling everything deeply doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means you’re human. Sometimes the hardest chapters become the ones that lead you home to yourself.

This next chapter of music is rooted in raw, honest self-expression and rediscovering who I am.

Here’s to coming home to ourselves, one song at a time. ❤️ Thank you for being here with me.

Please stream on Spotify or wherever you listen to music, and if it resonates with you, I’d be so grateful if you’d share it. ❤️

If you would like to be on my mailing list and have the music video sent directly to you, please send me your email address.

Cheers to my incredible CREATIVE team! 🥂

TOMORROW EVENING 💿 🎶 🎥
This cover song, RUNNING UP THAT HILL, has long been on the soundtrack of my life. Join me on an unfolding journey this year, climbing and clawing my way back to myself.

And please, join me for a virtual glass of champagne or wine tomorrow evening as I celebrate the release of this intimate and poignant music video on my YouTube channel: TONIA EVANS ARTIST - Wish Arts 🥂

KATE BUSH - “I had friends but I was spending a great deal of my time alone and for me that was vital because there’s an awful lot you learn about yourself when you’re alone.”

RUNNING UP THAT HILL — Coming July 16
Returning home to someone I never should have abandoned.

This version of Running Up That Hill isn’t about romantic conflict. It’s about the climb back to myself.

A conversation between the woman I became and the child I left behind. A journey of reclaiming my voice, my identity, and the pieces of me buried beneath duty, fear, and survival.

Sometimes the hardest hill we’ll ever climb is the one that leads us home.

Special thanks the creative team who helped me create this intimate musical expression and video…
