Ill start with the caveat that i’m better when charging ahead- not looking back, but last weekend’s celebrations deserve a certain, loud kind of recognition! Launching a space like Big Sky has been a wayward goal for many years, swimming through the long rivers of my mind- something that might happen long down the road. And then after surfing a random series of horrific/gnarly/wild/reinvigorating/inspiring events that happened in quick succession beginning in 2024, I realized solo studio life is no longer for me. I’m after the spirit of creativity that happens together. Soon enough, this goal became a reality that let me to a sunlit back-unit of a storefront in Humboldt Park. A space too beautiful to keep to myself. After developing the visual language (and psycho backwards business model) of Depy Zepo in warehouse spaces for 4 years, I was ready to let the outside back in. And in you came!!! Over 100 incredibly creative people came through the back door of the grand opening of Big Sky, a brick lined wonderland of good energy.

A time was had!!!!!!! The soundtrack and wine selection from Apero Pop (@computer_blue ) was so divine, the IPA @hopewellbrewing donated was so delicious and cheers’d up and down. I made too much Mezze, which btw my tirokefteri recipe coming soon to my newsletter (SIGN UP!). @thejuliamiller was my priestess of commerce and held down the DZ 5 year anniversary ceramics sale. @chchchelski was the mistress of underglaze and led our pottery painting workshop, kept it all organized with her virgo wiles. @la_soy_emmy gave us all tarot readings to help inspire the workshop of the night!! There are so many incredible dishes and bowls that were decorated!!!! Y’all blew it out of the water and made me so proud. They are truly incredible!!

Hello there! I am showing my face (again!!!)!
For those of you new here, hello! I’m Sarah! I’m in my 6th year of tattooing and I LOVE making pet portraits botanicals, and kitschy little tchotchkes and beyond!
I have been working out of a private studio on the far northwest side for a while now and it’s time for a change.
I am ecstatic to announce that starting in July, I will be joining my friends at Supplementary Studio in the Bucktown neighborhood! I am really excited to be more centrally located and can’t wait to work with y’all in this gorgeous space.
I am so SO grateful for my clients over the years that have warmed my little space and my little heart! I am looking forward to this next chapter — if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out through DM’s.
I am going to be having a studio sale so keep your eyes peeled for that announcement. I will have lots of stuff to peruse!
I am currently booking July-September — the form is in my bio and I would love to hear what you have in mind!
Slide through to see a few glass animals that I am really interested in tattooing. The solid color animals can be done in color or black work, but the patterned glass is intended for color 😘
