Lisabi Day is more than a festival, it’s a deep cultural remembrance of Egba heritage, honoring Lisabi Agbongbo Akala, the warrior who led his people to freedom and unity. It represents resistance, shared strength, and an identity that has carried through generations.

In 2026, that spirit showed up boldly, in the rhythm, the colors, the pride, and the presence of the people. It wasn’t just a celebration; it was history alive, culture in motion, and unity on full display.

Because Lisabi is not just the past, it’s the energy we still move with today. ⚔️

It’s that time again.

The drums are calling. The flags are ready. The world is watching.

Egbaliganza 2026 is coming.
This isn’t just a festival.

It’s a reunion. A reclaiming. A celebration of who we are and where we came from.

You’ll feel it in the air: the anticipation, the pride, the pull of home.

Egba by birth. Egba by love. It doesn’t matter.

If you’ve been waiting for the call, this is it.

Before the performance even started, the room was already speaking.

Fabrics in motion, colours shifting, bodies carrying stories in every movement. Culture expressed out loud, unfiltered, and completely alive.
The kind of moment that reminds you why these gatherings exist in the first place.

This is the part that stays with you.
