We’re introducing a ‘Member of the Month’ award for our active Cairns Wakeboard Club members - to recognise the riding, the sportsmanship and all the efforts and community spirit that go into making a club great.

@dingodogg has been busy the past few months making us new kickers, and currently a pretty cool new rail we should be seeing in the water soon. So he seems fitting for our September award. Thanks Clay, greatly appreciated 🙏

Let us know if you think someone particular deserves a $10 Maccas voucher next month…

Thanks @mcdonaldsau FNQ for donating vouchers and supporting our Club.

Last couple of days in Vancouver and first day in Lake Louise - Festival of lights, dogs allowed in all stores and hotels, Tesla Cyber trucks, Santa driving around town in a Rudolf bus and stopped to wish us ‘Happy Holidays’ as they say over here. Arrived to Lake Louise yesterday on the most scenic bus ride, the Canadian Rocky Mountains are nothing short of breathtaking! Sunrise is around 8:30am and Sundown at 4:30ish. Temperature in Lake Louise at the moment is -11 degrees. Our first snowboarding lessons today, stay tuned for more!

No Gi Seminar with Daniel Schuardt 🥋🔥

A huge thank you to Daniel Schuardt for coming in and sharing his wealth of knowledge with us at our No Gi seminar! 🙌

The session focused heavily on inside camping – a growing trend in BJJ – and how to shut it down through strong hand fighting, plus plenty of extra tips and details to sharpen our games.

Daniel broke everything down with amazing detail, giving us not only the “what” but also the “why” behind each movement. Those small adjustments and tactical insights will go a long way in helping us deal with this evolving style and continue developing on the mats. 💯

And of course, a big thank you to everyone who came down, drilled hard, and brought great energy. Sessions like this are what make our community stronger – learning, adapting, and growing together. 🖤

Had the best time riding at @blibliwakepark last week for Boardstock 2025 🙌

Nailed some of my hardest tricks during the comp and am super proud of my runs. Bring on next year!
