Hosting and bringing people together has always been something I’ve loved to do. Even my husband knows that when I say we’re having a “small gathering,” it usually means upwards of ten (or more) people, and your girl runs with a good theme.

For me, half the fun is in the planning. Dreaming up the tablescape, pulling out my favourite pieces, choosing the flowers, planning the menu, and finding those little unexpected details that make the occasion feel extra special. I love mixing patterns, using the good china, finding an excuse for a beautiful tablecloth, and adding a little something that guests weren’t expecting. Nothing makes me happier than seeing all those details come together.

But more than anything, I love making people feel welcome. The fact that someone has chosen to spend an evening in my home or a space I’ve chosen is something I never take for granted, and I think that’s worth making a little fuss over. Who’s with me?!

🍂 Our final farm-to-table dinner of the season is October 10, and we are so excited to welcome back our friend Chef Will Brinkerhoff. Will is a soil scientist and an endlessly creative seasonal chef, and he'll be turning the best of the local Fall harvest (think: squash, sweet peppers, just-picked greens, late-season roots) into an unforgettable multi-course dinner. We begin with a sunset farm tour, then settle in at the table with live music from Jacob Yancho.

Swipe through for highlights from Will's dinners at the farm over the seasons.

October 10 • $145/seat • Seats are limited
