The more I dive into my own experience and the questions that arise, the more I appreciate the friends doing the same. As I prepare for a new chapter, and the release of Every Snake Sheds Its Skin, I’ve been reflecting on the wonderful humans in my life ☀️✨🙏🏼🌺

My friends are so fucking cool. Art creatives, space holders, deep thinkers, people who aren’t afraid to be weird, brave, communicate, or honour boundaries.

The more I lean into my own inner world, the deeper my appreciation becomes for those doing the same. Because it’s hard. It’s easier to stay on the surface, keep things light and avoid the sore spots. It takes courage to lean into the places where the mind wants to run and hide.

But that’s where the beautiful, miraculous connection happens. 🌈

Thank you Elle 🌈🙏🏼 for being such an inspiring thinker, mentor and space holder, and for everything you bring to our community.

Thank you Jess 💜 for your incredible kindness, empathy and compassion. My heart is full around you.

Grazie mille Dinny 😍🌈 for showing me the power of protecting and communicating boundaries. Un forte abbraccio 🫂

And a massive thank you to Jessie 😍🤗 for birthing and growing Manawa. I genuinely don’t think I would have made a poetry book without you and this community. Not once did anyone make the dream feel too silly. Your commitment to showing up week after week, while raising two humans, is beautiful. 🌺💛

And to Charles, Carl, Francesco, Pierre, Megan, Anoushka, Florence, Giulia, George, Katie, Amy, Cammy and so many more — thank you. I could go on forever.

Every Snake Sheds Its Skin is planned for release around 10 October 🐍📝🫂

I can’t wait for you to meet all the dirty, sticky, lovely, beautiful and delicious parts of this human experience.

Arohanui ☀️💜💛💗💚🧡🤍🩷🩵❤️‍🔥

It’s been a year since our last Art & Bass…

Sometimes I can still feel the bass in my chest.
I can picture the artists painting, and people behind them moving freely, dancing, enjoying the moment —
the whole room breathing in the same rhythm with their own movements.

Art & Bass was only possible because of the people —
the visual artists,
the DJs,
the performers,
the photographers,
everyone who came through,
and the amazing club staff who supported us in every way.

And a huge thank you to @nattyslifeinwaves — we couldn’t have done it without you🫶

Original footage captured by @mel.nickerson - remixed for this throwback.

I really miss that energy🩶✨

Should we do it again?
Tell us in the comments if you’d love another one.

My father is Mauro, my mother is Paola,
I call Aoterao my Home
My name is Giulia

Over the past few years, I’ve been weaving my path through communities, offering spaces of connection, healing, and presence.

Many of you know me as the Cacao lady—a name that fits, as Cacao has been a big part of my journey. Sharing this sacred medicine with others has been a deep calling.

If we’ve met before, you’ll know that contribution, presence, and celebrating life’s rhythms are at the heart of everything I do.
I walk with feeling. Over time, I’ve reconnected with my intuition and the gifts I carry—particularly the ability to see others: to recognise the potential, wisdom, and light that already lives within you, just waiting to be remembered and shared.

Whether you’re coming to transform, transmute, celebrate, or reclaim something within, this space is for you.

✨Onda is a service born from the love of water, cacao, and the desire to empower others to embrace life’s waves with courage.

Rooted in collaboration, Onda is a movement open to anyone who wishes to contribute to this wave.

Guided by cacao and water’s wisdom, it is a welcoming space to explore practices and connections that resonate with you.

There is so much gratitude for everyone who contributed to the creation of Onda, I appreciate your support and your trust in this vision.

May we keep on walking this journey together, honoring the ebb and flow as we create space for transformation, support, and community. 🙏🏼🤎✨

🤎8 Reasons why empowering youth to recognize their potential through cacao is important:

1. ✨Skill Development✨: Engaging with cacao can teach young people valuable skills, including agricultural practices, entrepreneurship, and culinary arts. These skills can enhance their employability and foster innovation.

2. ✨Economic Opportunities✨: Cacao cultivation and production can be a source of income. By empowering youth in this sector, they can create sustainable businesses that contribute to their communities and improve their financial stability.

3. ✨Cultural Awareness✨: Cacao has a rich cultural story in many societies. Educating youth about its significance can foster pride in their heritage and encourage them to preserve and promote local traditions.

4. ✨Environmental Stewardship✨: Involving youth in sustainable cacao farming practices teaches them the importance of environmental conservation, helping to foster a generation that values and protects natural resources.

5. ✨Community Building✨: Engaging in cacao-related activities can strengthen community ties, as youth work together on projects, share knowledge, and promote local products. This sense of belonging can enhance their overall well-being.

6. ✨Healthy Lifestyle Promotion✨: By learning about the health benefits of cacao, youth can make informed choices regarding nutrition and wellness, contributing to healthier communities.

7. ✨Confidence and Leadership✨: Empowering youth to take initiative in cacao-related projects can boost their confidence and leadership skills, preparing them for future challenges and responsibilities.

8. ✨Global Connection✨: Cacao connects us ALL.
Supporting youth about this can inspire them to think globally while acting locally, fostering a sense of interconnectedness.

Overall, empowering youth through cacao not only helps them realize their individual potential but also contributes to broader social, economic, and environmental benefits for their communities.

I’m co-creating a Youth Empowerment Program through Cacao with Agnes Pilopaso and will travel to the Solomon Island in September to be on the ground with her.
