📚We kicked off the morning with a visit to the astronomical centre, where Konstantinos showed us how to create zines, an alternative way to share the community stories we’ve been gathering!

🎊In the evening, preparations for our community dinner began! We took over the local tavern to prepare dishes from Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, and Cyprus. As night fell, we shared our food with the community during an interactive dinner and danced together in the village square.

🎬 The morning was dedicated to preparing for our filming day. We learned more about the village of Ano Vrontou, where our documentary would take place, formed our filming crews, chose the roles each of us wanted to take on, and tested our equipment to make sure everything was ready for the day ahead.

🏡 In the evening, we explored the village through a guided tour, visiting @astropyli.serres , the village churches, and the historic bell tower. Along the way, we met local residents, shared the vision behind our project, and began building connections with the community whose stories we would soon have the privilege to document.

🎭 Why are rural areas being abandoned? What challenges do people living in villages face, and what gives them hope? We started the day by stepping into the shoes of different people living in rural communities through a role-playing activity, helping us better understand their daily realities and perspectives.

🎥 We continued exploring these questions by creating short videos, experimenting with storytelling techniques, filming, and visual communication to express the different experiences of rural life.

🎬 In the afternoon, we welcomed Dimitris, an experienced videographer, who shared his professional journey and practical tips from the field. We then joined Marcos for an inspiring session on how cinema can spark creativity and shape the way we tell stories. We closed the day by screening the videos we had created and reflecting together on the stories they conveyed.

A beautiful week in Morbello on the Erasmus training course "Tell me about it".

I prepared and performed my first stand up routine🐬

...адзінаццаць, дванаццаць
Дым

Among fireflies, among butterflies,
You too are glowing, glowing, glowing—
Only the chirr sounds like footsteps,
Only the wingbeats sound like music.

Raindrops rhythmically, rhythmically
On the roof, on the windows,
On the chest, on the temples,
On the tiles, on the trees,
Slowly, shyly.
Chirring, chirring, chirring, chirring—
Grass and bushes,
And leaves are chirring,
Brook, walls, ceiling,
Chirr, chirring,
Unceasing.
It darkens,
And shadows fall upon the brick.
We will rejoice in darkness, We will rejoice in shade—
The warmth wan't make you happy—
Will comfort you.
I’ll comfort you,
And unhurriedly, unhurriedly,
Haste, hasty, unhurriedly,
Till the bells strike
…eleven, twelve—
Shade.

Thank you @youthconnecteu

Apologies for the middle finger… I just never seem to have any normal photos of myself. That’s just me. 🤭
Today marks one month since we opened Studio Vintage… 🍾🎈
I’m not going to pretend the journey was easy. There’s been so much sweat, tears, hard work, stress, sleepless nights, and thousands of questions asking myself “how?” and “why?”
But this… this is why. 💅🏻
The answers come with time, and I know I’m only just scratching the surface. There’s still so much more to learn, experience, and understand.
This month somehow felt like an entire year. Tons of treasures (and even more ironing 🤭), so many new faces, happy customers, conversations, music, and of course… thrifting.🙂‍↔️
There’s not much left to say except THANK YOU.
First, to myself, for following my heart and believing in my own ideas and imagination.🤭💅🏻
Then, to my family:
• the one I was born into—my mom, dad, and sister.
• the one my soul chose—Milen and Maria and Michael.
And finally, thank you to every single one of you who came, supported me, found a treasure, shared a kind word, or simply believed in this little dream of mine.🤍
None of this would feel the same without you.
Here’s to the first month… and to everything that’s still to come.
🤍!

Sometimes I wish I could go back in time. Not to change anything, but to feel a few things again…
