This beautiful girl is 11 years old and she weighs 71 pounds and her owner surrendered her because they said she was sick. She ended up having her eye removed. She’s a little stiff in the back legs, but she has a lot of life left in her but she needs help quickly or she won’t make it out.

Karen was discarded full of milk to a loud and scary metal prison. She has been out of her kennel once since June 9th. Karen is scheduled to lose her life on Thurs. Please share her far and wide. Please. We know her forever someone is out there.

Karen is scheduled to lose her life at SEAACA shelter on Thursday, 8/27, at 2pm.

Karen has been at the shelter since June 9 and is now their longest resident. I’ve grown so incredibly fond of her, and between now and Thursday, I’m going to post as many videos of Karen as I can. After spending this long at the shelter, she deserves every chance possible to be seen.
This was Karen during her first days at the shelter. She came in full of milk. She was kenneled across from a mom and her puppies, and whenever one of the puppies cried, Karen would get up and look across the aisle toward them.
She would sit in her kennel and howl so quietly and softly.

• We don’t know what happened to her babies or the life she had before she came to the shelter.

Now, after more than 2 months at the shelter, Karen has been labeled “parvo exposed” and fast-tracked to euthanasia. Karen never had direct contact with the puppy who tested positive for parvo and wasn’t even housed on the same side of the shelter.

Karen has only been outside once since June 9. She has spent almost every day and night inside those shelter walls, and now she has until Thursday.

Please share Karen. Karen needs an adult-only home with no kids and no chaos.

Lucy came into the shelter on 8/8 with scarring, scabbing and hair loss around her muzzle from what looks like something that had been wrapped extremely tightly around it, either a muzzle or tape. The skin around her lower jaw is visibly indented from it. I can’t imagine what this girl has already endured.

She also came in heavily pregnant, and today she is in active labor at the shelter. Lucy is so sweet and so quiet. She has this really sad, soulful demeanor about her, and knowing what she has already been through makes it even harder to see her now having to give birth in a shelter.

After everything Lucy has endured herself, she is now bringing new little lives into the world that will depend on her. She needs somewhere safe to have her babies, care for them, and finally have someone taking care of her too.
Please share Lucy. Let’s find this sweet mama somewhere safe to go.

Update: Angela @deservingdogs rescued 11 animals including 3 pigs from a deceased man’s property. She was not prepared for this Herculean task but couldn’t leave them behind. Angela needs help finding rescue/adopters for the huskies. Please share and please donate if you are able. Thank you Angela for extraordinary, above and beyond the call of duty hero work!!! Thank you for bringing love, light and hope. God bless you! ✨🫶✨

Repost: @deservingdogs This is a very happy update for me to post however I still want to emphasize that I need a rescue to step up and take these guys. Our little rescue @deserving_paws was not ready to take on so many animals all at once but I couldn’t leave them behind. I ended up removing 11 of the animals by myself.

All of them will be spayed/neutered/microchipped/vaccinated and have fecals done at our expense so thank you all for donating for this huge undertaking! The senior animals will also get bloodwork done.

But back to the huskies! This is Wolfie (the male) and Sasha (the female). These are their actual names they’ve had.
Wolfie is super sweet and affectionate and he’s a bit older maybe around 8 years old. Sasha is super gentle and more sensitive and she’s maybe 3 years old. They are fine when separated as well so if someone was willing to adopt or take in their rescue only one we would consider that.

Please still consider helping them even though they are now safe at my house. This was not something I was prepared for but it wasn’t something I could turn away from either as no one else was helping. If you can’t help by taking one any amount of donations would be hugely helpful. It will be thousands to vet everyone.
We also have our mobile groomer coming to clean them up because they smell really awful.
