The closing of my show The One Contains The All on Sunday was such a dream! My loved ones and new friends showed up and it was a great way to celebrate the ending of a very successful exhibition. I did my first artist talk with an introduction from @ehrlichabby and I think it went pretty well! It was fun to share with folks what this work means to me and how I made it. I am incredibly proud of this body of work and so grateful to @eightrosesgallery for hosting the exhibition. It is a beautiful space and the work looked amazing in it. A perfect fit! I have great install shots if you missed it and a few pieces left (although most found homes!!) so reach out if you want to see those.

Shout out to Whispers, the coolest gallery cat I know 🐈‍⬛

Huge thank you to everyone who came out to see the show and to those who supported me and my work. Y'all keep me going!

Coming up this Friday, we are privileged to have the illustrious Bryan Day ( @bdayeyesore ) who will be visiting us from the SF Bay area here with our friends at @wyrdhut . Supporting is the great @broken_crow_trio as well as new Seattle duo project @dion_egg (drums) and Vic (sax) as Halo Two.

Bryan Day is a sound artist, musical instrument inventor, and conceptual artist based in the San Francisco Area. Using scavenged electronics, repurposed mechanical components, and amplified materials, he re-imagines them into constructivist sound sculptures. Since the late-1990s, he has built over a hundred sound object devices, from amplified measuring tape, hacked radio transceivers to electromechanical installations using magnets, hard drives and pendulums. His recorded work ranges from noisy electroacoustic improvisation to drony minimalism and audio collage, which is showcased in his projects Euphotic, Collision Stories and Seeded Plain. Day has performed, taught workshops, and built sound installations across Europe, Asia and the Americas. During his days, he can be found designing, building, and repairing science museum exhibits at the Exploratorium in San Francisco.
