Yesterday, I took a train from Lagos to Abeokuta with some of my favourite people.

It was my first train ride, my first time at the Egba Museum, and my first time at Olumo Rock. So clearly, yesterday was a day for firsts.

The climb was an experience!
By the time I got to the third phase, my acrophobia decided to show up. I panicked, questioned my life choices and considered turning back. I made it to the top regardless.

Here’s a little Olumo Rock dump.

As for the Egba Museum and the Alake’s Palace, maybe a different post.

A whole day later and I’m still processing the amazing experience I had with my people at the famous Olumo Rock, Abeokuta.❤️

Tuning in to @t30devotion at the very start of my day has proven to be the best decision ever.

Again, @ezinne.zara is THE BEST! And her podcast @eziipod has been my favourite thing to watch while I eat. This particular episode with @somebileo did something to and for me

My number 1 highlight from my trip to Warri is that I fell in love with a cat and somehow, I MUST get one now that I’m back in Lagos

@akinolayomikun_ and I developed a special bond during our stay in Warri and I loved and enjoyed it so much! Mikun, you’re such an amazing person🫶🏼

I had already started reading @ezinne.zara ‘s HEIOTS as soon as I landed and boy oh boy! I felt goosebumps from every page
