~ A birthday wish and a call to action. On May 1, I officially registered as a candidate for Toronto City Council in Ward 13 - Toronto Centre. This campaign is rooted in one simple idea: our communities deserve respect. Respect means affordable housing people can actually afford. Respect means investing in communities, not leaving people behind. Respect means protecting community spaces where people gather, organize, heal, and belong. Respect means good jobs, youth employment, and food security for every neighbourhood. This campaign belongs to all of us and we need you with us.
