German roots, Vietnamese heritage and Mexican accents. All in Tuscany. We brought papel picado to the olive groves, filled the tables with lilies and orchids, parked a tiny pizza truck under the cypress trees and watched a whole table of guests throw their napkins in the air. 18 months of calls, site visits, spreadsheets and „what if we…“ ideas, all leading to one warm evening in the Italian countryside. Best. 🦆ing. Days. Of. Our. Lives. 💍 We can’t put into words how magical our days in Italy were. Friends and family from all around the world travelled & crossed the ocean just to celebrate our love with us. We feel truly loved and blessed that we got to „kick off our marriage“ with such a wonderful celebration. Looking at these pictures and reliving these memories fills us with so much joy, love and appreciation for the things that really matter to us. We know what a privilege it is to have our loved ones pause their lives and travel so far just to be there for us. A pizza party with tequila imported from México that ended with everyone jumping into the pool, a heartfelt ceremony underneath the pine trees leaving everyone sobbing, a wedding dinner between olive groves filled with emotional speeches and dancing through the night. We can’t imagine sharing our vows any other way. These days made me realize how much I want more moments like this in life. And tbh, we’d rent out a villa with a pool and a beautiful view again in a heartbeat just to spend an amazing time with our loved ones. 💗 Maybe we’ll fly our friends to Mexico next year for our 30th birthdays? 👀 However, we’re so excited to finally share a glimpse of our wedding through the lens of Sinah, my beloved friend, and her amazing team with you today. Turns out "just a styled shoot" means a 10 hour day, approximately 47 outfit changes for the flowers, and me carrying more things than I'll ever admit. Forever worth it though.
