💙The Ocean. Our home. Our playground. And our responsibility to protect. 🌱
We created Ocean Nomads to bring you together with equally passionate salty souls living and ready for ocean adventure and impact action ⛵️⛵️⛵️💙 We’re all on similar journeys, dreaming and doing about ocean adventures and to make a positive impact around us. We have brilliant ideas, projects, dreams, actions, and desires for experiences, learning, connection, conscious living and to be part of something. We’re looking to connect with others honouring simple and sustainable lifestyles and driven to do good. But alone we can only do so much!
The online stuff is just a means to accelerate our journeys in the wild. What we aim to achieve is real-life connection and action in, on, and near the ocean. You can spend less time online researching and connecting because here you have the place to find your answers and your people.
A huge part of our nomadic excitement is in the act of setting out for exploration, to let the magic happen and to see what we encounter. But few people enjoy doing it alone. It’s nourishing to meet like-minded souls with shared interests, values, and mission to share the journey. To find answers to questions that google doesn’t answer. To find a project where we can lend our hand. There are sailing forums, ocean conservation projects, general crew websites, tons of Facebook groups and yacht clubs. There are beautiful places to meet, and to give and ask information both offline and online. But most of these places are generic and single-purpose. Ocean Nomads, like you and me, might belong to half a dozen such groups, but feel unfulfilled. We don’t have one place where we can easily find one another, until this week!
To be able to better connect people to each other, to nature, boats, adventure, and to resources and tools for your ocean nomads journeys, we have set up an Ocean Nomads community membership. And as of this week, you can join!

Meet Marcin from Poland!
Earlier this year he joined an Ocean Nomads sail in the Canaries. Super determined to explore what sailing and live aboard life is about. And if it’s for him. And it is! He quit his job and step by step he makes its happen. Now he’s back in the Canaries. He just sailed in and just sailed out again. Off to Cape Verde and then on to Grenada in the Caribbean.
Superproud of this little pirate who had no idea about sailing one year ago. Sailing experience is often not the essential requirement to join a boat. It’s personality and attitude! You got this @marcin.figacz We’re superproud and can’t wait to hear the stories! 😁💙⛵️🙌🍀👏

Zaczynamy pourlopowy spam ;) Z taką ekipą to naprawdę niesamowita radość podróżować! Mieszanka dobrze znanej ekipy, z całkiem nowymi znajomymi, dała super rezultat :) Bawiłam się z tymi ludźmi świetnie i mam nadzieję, że to nie nasze ostatnie wspólne działanie ;)

A little impression from last sailing adventure in Lanzarote!
What a week! With 9 adventurers all coming from different countries we set sail to explore the bays and waters of the north east Canary Islands. Presente: Ukraine, UK, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Poland, Australia & Holland! Only two of them had sailed before. Now, I think they all fell in love with the lifestyle:) The weather was pretty good and allowed for some epic sailing and sailing maneuvers, surfing, diving, and simply being in nature. We had Marjo & Edwin of @changemaker.life Ocean Conservation and Claudio from @sailandwhale sharing with us insights about the destination, the importance of data collection and how we as conscious adventurers can contribute to the research.
Thank you you dare devils who gathered the courage and made the effort to jump on board! What a lovely little family we became after just a few days 🙌❤️
This summer I’ll be creating some more spontaneous and simplicity minded sailing opportunities to share with you what the lifestyle is about: simple, natural and No day without Adventure and play.
