This one was HEAVY.

For the first time, SL90 was trusted with an opportunity of this scale, bringing together some of the FASTEST ballers across London for the NIKE MERC TOUR LONDON. 💨⚡️

From finding the talent and liaising with every player, to making sure everyone was ready and then coaching on the day…

WE GOT IT DONE. 🤝🏾

16 MEN.
16 WOMEN.
HEAD-TO-HEAD.
CASH PRIZE ON THE LINE. 💰🏃🏾‍♂️💨

But it was bigger than just finding out who was quickest.

Every baller got to experience a proper Nike event, compete, connect and walk away with the full kit from the day. 🎒🔥

And hearing the feedback afterwards from the players made all the work behind the scenes worth it.

For SL90, this one represents a BIG milestone.

We’ve always said we want to create access and opportunities for our community.

Now we’re being trusted to help DELIVER them.

ITS TIME!!!!

The 32 Borough Cup takes place tomorrow, with our talented U16 squad looking to do avenge our semi-final heartbreak last year

Lots of eyes on the tournament, with plenty of scouts in attendance looking to find some gems before their scholars start 🫡

💪 Captain Sebastian leads us out in his 3rd consecutive tournament - from playing as an U14 in the U16 tournament, to leading the team

NIKE TOMA – SOUTH LONDON 📍⚽️🔥

The football was top quality, but moments like these are what make events special.

A huge thank you to all of the SL90 Gaffers who came down to support our community of ballers competing at Nike TOMA Brixton. The encouragement, guidance and belief from the sidelines never went unnoticed. 🙌

From our young players to our coaches, seeing the whole community come together and represent South London was something special.

And to top it all off, having Nigerian footballing legend Jay-Jay Okocha in attendance was a massive moment. 🇳🇬✨

One of the most skilful players to ever grace the game, yet he still took the time to embrace the community, connect with the players and share in the experience. Moments like that inspire the next generation and remind young people that football can open doors far beyond the pitch.

Massive shoutout to our SL90 ballers who stepped up and represented throughout the tournament.

This is a group that won just 2 games at U13. Since taking over at U14, the players have worked relentlessly to improve, developing year after year through U14, U15 and now U16

To finish joint top of the league is a reflection of the commitment, resilience and growth shown by every player in the squad. Missing out on the playoffs hurts, but it should never take away from what this team has achieved

Every challenge, every setback and every success has helped shape this group into the team they are today. We couldn't be prouder of the journey

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended and supported the Junior Dean Memorial Cup. 💙

From all the clubs, organisations, and young people involved you helped make this event truly special and a huge success.

Across both the Coaches vs Players fundraiser match and the Memorial Cup, nearly £2000 was raised in support of Junior’s family, an incredible achievement made possible by the unity and generosity of everyone involved.

Congratulations to SL90 as the winners of the Memorial Cup, but more importantly, this wasn’t about the result, it was about the community coming together in strength, showing love, and honouring Junior in the best way possible.

With over 250 young people taking part and spectating across the two days, the turnout showed the true power of togetherness and what football can bring beyond the pitch.

Thank you for standing together, for showing up, and for making it count. 💙
