Out today at Forms&Figures: a fun copilation with a few of my first „Techno“ tracks from 1993/94. Very different from what I do now but we all need to start somewhere. 😅 Also includes the theme from Berlins Highhouse radio show hosted by Djs Larry and Fisch, together we later released a few tunes as Diarr’Hea. These are very lofi tape recordings. Hope you enjoy a wild ride into the past!

On today’s New Music Friday: Medlar remixes Vanity Project, Tigerskin turns psychedelic, Ian O’Donovan features on Garnier’s COD3 QR, Tehotu lands on Float and Far Out Radio Systems marks a decade on SoHaSo. Find links to the full tracks using our link in bio. Orson’s Organ (@medlar_’s Underwater Remix) by @van1ty_project on @claptrap_clptrp VP is back, check your engine mounts this one will rattle anything loose. Orson’s Organ is a floaty acid roller that both packs a punch and tickles the synapses. We’re also really lucky to have London legend Medlar (Wolf, Delusions of Grandeur) in on the action providing a sweeter garage-influenced remix perfect for those summer closing parties. Growing Stones by @tigerskin.official on @dirtcrewrecordings Tigerskin’s “Growing Stones” is a deep, pulsating and energetic track, a mix of house and techno with that special psychedelic touch, a growing emotive track that builds and builds, one for the early club hours. Taken from his new album “Image”. Alive by @ianodonovan_music on @cod3qr Laurent Garnier (@laurent_garnier) presents a Super Eight for the next digital release on his COD3 QR label, featuring Ian O’Donovan. Versatil by @tehotu_ on @floatrecords ‘A Way Through’, the debut EP of Tehotu on Float Records. Tehotu delivers a stripped-back take on techno, combining rugged percussion, hypnotic repetition, and subtle old-school influences. Binary by @far_out_radio_systems on @sohaso “I See You As You Were” is a small digital-only EP released with Nuno (@nunodostres): a handful of tracks made throughout the +10 years I have had the honour to release music on Something Happening Somewhere, out not as a teaser of what is about to come, but as a way of saying I’m still here.

I made a new album. „Image“ is out today at my classic homebase @dirtcrewrecordings. Jan Gabler helped a lot with mixing. The digital version contains 12 tracks coming from the bottom of my heart. We can offer a limited vinyl release with the 6 most danceable tunes. Hope you dig! 💪🏽

On today’s New Music Friday: DJ Godfather on one machine, a Maastricht electroclash classic reissued, Steffi’s album gets its first single, 30 years of Blueprint and deep techno from Colombia. Find links to the full tracks using our link in bio. Blast Off by @djgodfatherdetroit on Databass Records Following DJ Godfather’s fierce new electro track ‘Get Back’, he delivers an EP made solely on one piece of equipment, the Roland TR-1000. “So my man Recloose from Roland (@rolandsynthandaira) introduced me to the Roland TR-1000 a while ago and I was inspired by it the second I started playing with it!” Plastique People feat. Zusi by Break 3000 on Electron Feel (@dirtcrewrecordings) A well needed re-issue of this sought after Break 3000 electroclash classic from the period 1999-2003. Originally released on Meuse Muzique in Maastricht. Sudden Flash by @steffi_dolly_klakson on Dekmantel (@dkmntl) First single taken from the upcoming Steffi album on Dekmantel Records. Indirect World by @james_ruskin on @blueprintrecords_uk UK techno lynchpin James Ruskin celebrates 30 years of Blueprint with a remastered edition of his ‘Further Design’ LP, released originally in 1998. Córdoba 01 by @astronomicaltelegram_ on Telegrama Great deep techno by Astronomical Telegram on the Colombian Telegrama label.

On today’s New Music Friday: ‘Shine A Light’ from Lucky Done Gone on Safe Trip, Telesumo’s mechanical electro, Far Out Radio Systems back after two quiet years, Inigo Kennedy nods to Detroit, and unreleased 1997 deep house. Find links to the full tracks using our link in bio. Shine A Light by @luckydonegone on @safetrip_org New progressive music on Safe Trip by Lucky Done Gone. Followed by @telesumo on @panamtracks Somewhere beneath Shoreham Port lie the remnants of an abandoned research program now known only as the Shoreham Paradox. Telesumo’s Shoreham Paradox soundtracks those forgotten experiments. Mechanical electro rhythms pulse through corroded infrastructure, while fractured melodies drift like intercepted broadcasts leaking from sealed bunkers beneath the coastline. Polly Higgins by @far_out_radio_systems on @sohaso After a quiet two years, Far Out Radio Systems is putting music back out into the world. “I stepped back to give more to my other passion, biodiversity research, and that work often took me far from the studio, but it never took the music with it.” The Unbending by @inigokennedy on Asymmetric Asymmetric boss Inigo Kennedy returns to his label. Title track ‘The Unbending’ opens the EP and tips its hat in the direction of Detroit, a timeless combination of Roland drum machines and synth stabs that drops a typical Kennedy melodic punctuation mark along the way. Jazz by Korsakow (@tigerskin.official) on Forms & Figures (@dirtcrewrecordings) We’re happy to present another package with several of Korsakow’s classic deep house tunes from the mid 90s. “Jazz” (from 1997) was never released before, adding that dry, early Chicago house vibe we love so much.
