To know this guy, is to love this guy! (scroll to the last picture…he’s always been a freakin’ vibe😂🫶)

If you need someone to make you laugh or remind you that life doesn’t have to be so serious. He’s got you.

If you need someone to show up with all the things you didn’t know you needed. He’ll show up with all of it in tow.

If you need someone who keeps all the things moving and taken care of without one ounce of complaining. I’m telling you, he’s the best guy for the job.

And most importantly, if you need someone to love you, unconditionally, through the ugliest parts of life…he’s already there.

He’s picking up the pieces. He’s leaving what no longer fits. He’s always 10 steps ahead and making adjustments when he sees a new, easier path. He sees all the sides and gives empathy anyway.

He’s the calm to almost anyone who knows him. And by calm, I mean he makes people feel seen, heard, and safe. Even at the loudest party…he’s going to make you his friend (including the brick wall) and he’s going to make it his priority to ensure you have a great time.

He’s quick to own his mistakes, even when they’re not his. He’ll carry the weight of the world on his back if you let him, but please don’t (we play tug-of-war, if you will, for letting me carry some of it with him 😅). He will literally make your problems his problems so you’re not walking in the depths alone.

And to think I’m writing all of this the guy I get to spend the rest of my life with. Phew. I’m not always nice or saying the sweetest things, or making the weight he carries any lighter. I’m just grateful that he knows my heart and knows that I know his, to our cores.

Happy 35th trip around the sun babe! Hope you feel the warmth of life today and always. I love you ❤️

02 — MONTHLY OUTINGS
Sometimes we just wanna go play golf somewhere cool.
New courses. Good people. Optional day game. Just pay the greens fee and come play.

03 — HRBT SQUADS
Find your people. Pick your colors. Defend ’em.
4 players. 6 months. 6 events. One hell of a way to play golf with your Squad. Season 001 is Underway Now!

04 — THE HAMPTON ROADS BOGEY TOUR
For when “just playing for fun” isn’t quite enough.
A season-long race across the 757. Gross. Net. Points. Pressure. A whole lot of Bogeys.

05 — POP-UPS
Not everything needs a season or a leaderboard.
Putt-putt. Range nights. Charity events. Random nonsense. If it sounds fun, we’ve probably got something in the works.

Year 6🤍

The protection wrapped around those 2 in the photo captures everything we’d need in our lives. One another.

Sometimes we miss and sometimes we hit it out of the park. Some days we give it our all and others we share the weight. We joke, we fight (okay…I fight), we (meaning you) push buttons, AND we always show up for the other. Sometimes with an eye roll or clenched jaw, but we always show up. Not because we have to, because we want to.

Grateful to share it all with @dirthethan 😘 Through all the coffees I buy and the golf games you play, we’re doing this damn thing and pretty well I might add. I love you with my whole heart and every “are you serious?” moment 🤣🫶
