To kick off OUtside the BigMac Vol. 5, tonight @pankeculture , 20h we’ll start with a conversation with Ran Huber about @amstart_berlin, DIY culture, and Berlin’s long-standing tradition of making art outside the logic of growth-driven ambitions.

Ran Huber founded amSTARt to provide a platform for bands he was friends with. Since then, amSTARt has organized well over 1,000 concerts featuring artists such as Camera, Christiane Rösinger, Jens Friebe, Chuckamuck, Masha Qrella, Dagobert, Ladytron, and Ratatat. Ran Huber has worked as a musician, auteur filmmaker, and multimedia artist. Alongside his current work as a curator, promoter, and organizer, he is also a DJ and writer.

Timetable :
20:00 Door
20:30 Ran Huber (Interview/Talk)
21:20 Cosey Mueller (Live)
22:30 Mat Pogo (Micro Performance)
22:45 Chris Imler (Live)
23:45 Caillou (DJ set)

Don't miss the next Outside the BigMac in November (there are still some early birds ticket)

It is sharp, it is wild it is dry out of his mind and from this world it is MAT POGO (@matpogo)
Mat will give us tremendous joy with a short set of vocal only noise & roll performance at the next Outside the BigMac in @pankeculture 10 october.

Mat Pogo’s solo performances are a blend of rock'n'roll, noise, nonsense language, electronics and abstract narrative theater, packed in a highly entertaining electro-acoustic cocktail where music, sounds and anecdotes are constantly colliding.
Improviser, music producer, DJ and comic book artist, Pogo was born in Rome in 1970 and lives in Berlin. He's been active in the European underground since the early 1990s, when he co-founded the multimedia collective Burp Enterprise and the avant-pop band Jealousy Party.

Only 50 tickets left!
(tickets in @outsidethebigmac Bio)
