Photos from last weekend in Elkton, FL. This disc golf tournament was the 2nd annual Second Chance Open. Sponsored by @westsidegolfdiscs , this event saw about double the amount of competitors as the first year. The whole event was put on by @flagleroars , an organization dedicated to recovery from substance abuse. I am extremely grateful to have taken photos and videos of the event for the second straight year. The turnout was amazing and the staff was even better! Enjoy these snapshots of the competition ranging from all ages and skill levels!!

Ace Race 2.0
Day 8 🤑

Sometimes you gotta give the people what they want 🤷‍♂️

#wombatwednesday came early this week!

Story Time: This was not my intended shot I was thinking of today. I wanted to lawn dart my Firebirds 🎯 The hole I had envisioned did not pan out to what I thought it was in real life.

So I had to call an audible back to our basket we hit 150 on. It was a wet morning, warm up was rough. Forehands felt alright, but I couldn’t commit to them with the drop off on right. Discouraged and not feeling confident on today. Soooo….. I thought, let’s have fun!

Really believed I was just waisting day, trying to get to “Wombat Wednesday”!

Moral of the story, Have fun, never count yourself out!

Big shout out to @disc_respect for facilitating this whole thing!! This was the most fun I’ve had making disc golf content in a minute!

Another Big Shoutout to my sponsor @innovadiscs , if I didn’t have the cache of discs I do this wouldn’t have been possible.

I want to think my other sponsors as well, all the support is appreciated! @ros_discs @_team_whittaker_

And last but definitely not least, Thank You for following along!! Lots of love to all the family and friends who were cheering me on! You guys rock! Thank you!

If there was ever a grouping of throws that made me feel like I deserved to hit 150ft... this would be it 😅

This challange has definitely been fun and has giving me a reason to work on that throw in from distance shot. If you can tell, im really not trying to blast it past the basket. Im actively trying to throw a shot as if I had to make the comeback putt, and its feeling really good to be running the basket at 150ft but sticking within 14ft of the basket 🔥

The battle continues!!
