Our film placed 2nd tonight at the @surfride through our lens film contest!! What started as a DM from @anchorandpine saying “hey you should enter this contest” sparked the brain child of “Never Tired” - bc truly the Groms are never tired and I need their energy 🤣 We had a 2 week deadline, I had just started working the school year, and was still recovering from surgery but we somehow managed to pull it off! The water footage was taken on the last day I was able to be in the water before surgery so it made this one a little extra special. Full film is available on YouTube (link in bio). I hope you all enjoy! Huge thanks to @kristingullo @liquidtimmy @bentefunch @riffking for coordinating schedules, allowing me to capture your kids journeys, and trusting me full send on this one! These kids have some awesome parents and I can’t wait to see what their future holds whatever they choose to pursue!

When I started putting together the soundtrack for the new short film with @audrey.gullo I knew I needed a song with real energy and that’s when the Gullo family introduced me to DJ @discodanger ⚡️ At just 11 years old, her ear for music is unreal. She mixes music from Daft Punk to Tiesto seamlessly. She picked up DJing during COVID, and in just a few short years, she’s gone from playing local spots like the Cardiff Kook to lighting up Snapdragon Stadium for @sandiegowavefc Keep an ear out for her sound in the upcoming film edit I’ll be dropping this month 🌊🎧 Next up?
