It's Sunday and I have to work, getting ready for two half-term workshops. Ah well, never mind. I love my job!!! Join me to make your own paper Day of the Dead inspired mask and learn all about the traditions of sugar skulls and more. 🐒🌳 WE WENT GO APE! 🌳🐒 We were invited along to @goapetribe in Witton Country Park and this was SO much more than just a day out for the kids! 🥹 George and his cousin Lola were unbelievably brave and this was probably one of the highest courses we've done with them! 😱👏🏻 But the best part was that me and George's dad got involved too… and I'm so glad we did! ❤️ There's something so nice about all of you being up there together, helping each other across the obstacles, cheering each other on and laughing when you're absolutely terrified 😂 For a couple of hours there were no phones, no screens and no distractions… just us, the trees and a whole lot of fun. 🌳 And I think that's what we loved most about Go Ape. It's not just somewhere for the kids to burn off some energy, it's a chance for the grown ups to be kids again too! 🐒😂 Life gets so busy and it's so easy to get caught up in everything, so having an excuse to properly switch off, get outside and HAVE FUN together was exactly what we needed. ❤️ Go Ape Blackburn is set within the huge 480 acre Witton Country Park, so there's loads of beautiful nature,fantastic parks around and a cafe too🌳🍃 Definitely one of those experiences where you leave thinking… why don't we do this more often?! 🥹 📍 Go Ape Blackburn, Witton Country Park, Blackburn Follow @twogowild.northwest for more family fun days out ❤️ Would you be brave enough to take on the course with your kids… or would you be the one screaming the loudest? 😂👇🏻 #GoApe #GoApeBlackburn #WittonCountryPark #Blackburn #NorthWestDaysOut
