Take a moment to step inside our brand new bathroom where deep teal walls wrap the room in a moody, enveloping glow and old-soul charm lingers in every corner. Veined marble catches the light, a bold geometric floor adds a playful rhythm underfoot and warm wood brings a quiet, tactile softness. Favorite artwork and collected treasures fill the space with the feeling of a room gathered slowly over time- welcoming, personal, and entirely ours. We’ve loved bringing every detail to life, from the cool touch of stone to the warmth of wood. Our morning routines have never felt more enjoyable. #ShorHome #BathroomDesign #Provincetown #InteriorDesign #CollectedInteriors

Why should the rest of the house have all the fun? For the primary bathroom in our A Splash of Color project, we wanted a space that matched the home’s bold color and expressive personality. Reeded wood paneling brings texture and architectural interest, while jewel-tone tile and custom vanities add richness, depth, and more than a little drama. The result is a primary bath that feels just as expressive as the rest of the home, with its own distinct design. Photography: @readmckendree; Styling by: @matthewgleasonstylist

True elegance lives in the details. Classic architectural moldings, a timeless checkerboard marble floor, a sculptural chandelier and a sconce made in stone and glass that feels like art. Together, these elements create a refined space with a quiet balance of craftsmanship and personality. The best rooms are ready before the first knock at the door. Deep navy cabinetry, warm brass, and a fan mosaic that catches the light once the lamps come on. Ginger beer chilling, limes on the counter, glasses waiting. Hosting season, handled. 📷 @jessicadelaneyphotography #bostoninteriordesign #homebar #navycabinets #artdecodesign #holidayhosting

First up at Fall Market: The New Guard. Because the future of design is not waiting its turn. It is already in the room. Rachel Reider and Kate Maloney Albiani of The Layered Life kick off the day with an hour devoted to the next generation of design talent, getting into the conversations that matter once the portfolio starts to click: finding your voice, communicating your value, choosing the right opportunities, building relationships and turning early momentum into a career with staying power. The Layered Life was created around the candid business conversations its founders wish they had access to earlier in their careers, making this a fitting place to begin Icons of Influence. Fresh talent, hard won perspective and a little less mystery around what it actually takes to build a life in design. RSVP via link in profile.
