Man, if you would’ve told me two years ago, that two globally respected artists in @peggygou_ & @fourtetkieran with completely different musical identities, are both supporting my music on one of the biggest dance music festivals ever in @headtripindio I would have thought u were crazy.

Two years later, the vision is becoming reality.

I’m telling you right now… if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s NEVER bet against somebody who believes in what they’re building.

To my fellow artists, have the conviction to build something before the world gives you permission to build it.

-Jake Shore, the Artist.

When I first tested SUPERSONIC, the reactions were mixed.

Now after the virality, I’m watching people respond to the same record differently.

That says a lot!

Sometimes people do not know how to receive something until the world gives them permission to pay attention.

But the reason SUPERSONIC means so much to me is because it was never made to fit a mold.

I did not make it for someone else’s USB.

I did not make it to chase a label.

I made it because it was 100% authentically me.

I believed in it when the reactions were uncertain.
I believed in it before the viral moment. And I believed in it enough to release it on my own.

That is what makes this release the most fruitful and successful of my career.

So for any artist reading this…

Do not be too quick to abandon what is honest just because it is not immediately understood!

Sometimes the world catches up later.

Sometimes the thing that feels the most like you is the thing that changes everything.

Good music is good music.
Truth cuts through.
Authenticity lasts.

Keep pushing your sound.
Keep pushing your artistry.

Trust what you hear before the crowd tells you how to feel.

no one knows we walked to get here 🚶💨

We pulled up from Detroit with nothing but house music, bald heads, and the Holy Spirit on speed dial. Miami — you asked for a good time. We brought our testimony.

Salute to every soul on that came to groove. Thank you to the silver fox and papa bear for taking the trip for a day. We love you. @discovery_sessions x @esmehotel — thank you for the platforms, and the space.

Bald Daddy Energy — what nobody asked for, what everybody needs. Glory be to God. Always.
