Ad - invite. I have been so excited for Aviktas to open at Blackpool Pleasure Beach since the moment it was first announced. There was no way I WASN’T going to be there on opening day. This met all my expectations and then some.

The absolute perfect ride for the park, and for the UK. A phenomenal experience from start to finish. It’s visually impressive, beautifully floaty, but with a strong pop of +G at the bottom (I registered it at over 4.5 fact fans 🤓 ). No videos can do the feeling
of riding it justice!

And of course a special shout out to my friend and co-rider @thenotablestranger for adding such an incredible soundtrack - I’m so proud! And lovely @disneymark - can we do it all again? 🐍

What a SOAKER! 💦 🐯

This is the incredibly themed rapids attraction, Kali River Rapids, located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom 🙌🏻

Located in the Asia themed area of the park, Kali River Rapids takes riders along the Chakranadi River, through beautifully themed landscapes before dropping them down a 30ft shute.

You WILL get wet! You may get SOAKED 💦💧

Do you like cruises or are you like my sister, who refuses to get on a ship, especially if it is anywhere near icebergs? Ha. Steve and I obviously ADORE being on the water and being lost at sea for as long as possible. We are truly blessed to be able to take these kinds of adventures and do not take it lightly that we can (at least until he retires and we’re broke – ha).

Some of our favorite things about the cruise were:

🚢Sunsets and sunrises over the ocean (big surprise!)
🚢The incredible Disney shows
🚢Eating incredible tapas in Cadiz, Spain
🚢The beautiful beaches of Lookout Cay and Castaway Cay
🚢Drinks on the balcony of our stateroom watching the water
🚢Meeting @disneymark & Steven and enjoying so many laughs
🚢The drawing sessions with the crew
🚢Seeing so many dolphins, and a dozen whale spouts
🚢BINGO! It’s one of our first loves
🚢The churro waffles (these may make an appearance in TMYWM)
And soooo many more

We had dozens of interesting adventures that make for excellent stories but are far too long to share here. They certainly made the trip memorable from start to finish. I’m so lucky I was able to disengage for a few weeks and just really be present with Steve. It’s good for our souls and our relationship. It was like one ginormous date night!

I’m back, exhausted from jet lag and a cold I picked up right at the end of the cruise, but I’m working, once again, on Fallon and Parker’s story (TMYWM is commmmming)! I can’t wait to start sharing more about it with you NEXT week!

What's your go-to Disney ride? For me it's always going to be Tower Of Terror, whether it's the Paris or Florida version 😍
