Since we’re nearly a week out from Unified Fest, I wanted to take the time to thank our sponsors for all their help with the fest this year. It’s really cool to have so much support from friends who run labels, distros, and print shops, or who work at local businesses. These are not corporate soulless sponsors or cheap brand deals. These are members of the scene putting in the work to make this something special! Thanks @ldb502 for the endless support and fest prep! Thanks @rtrtapes & @fuchsiacollective for INHC solidarity! Thanks @disorderdesignco & @hellfish_merch for hooking our bands up with high quality merch! Thanks @blue.mind.coffee for keeping our bands caffeinated and thanks Toppers Indy for keeping our bands fed! Thanks to @indystringtheory for providing part of the backline and always helping local bands! And lastly thanks @slybadges for slinging radical stickers and zines, and always going above and beyond to support Indy hardcore and punk! We have a seriously strong community here in Indiana and the Midwest, and these sponsors are just one little piece of that as proof!

Pins & Needles, the debut LP from post-punk quartet THE SECRECY – whose members also play with the likes of Flesher, Chrome Waves, Bringers Of Disease, Isolation Drills, En Dive, and more – is now playing exclusively at New Noise Magazine, ahead of its release this Friday on Disorder Recordings. Rather than leaning on nostalgia, THE SECRECY uses the vocabulary of post-punk as a living language. The record moves fluidly from icy minimalism to towering crescendos, pairing stark lyrical introspection with expansive, emotionally resonant soundscapes. It is an album built on contrasts: intimacy and distance, despair, and defiance. THE SECRECY delivers a debut that feels fully realized — a statement of intent that positions the band not as revivalists, but as contributors to the ongoing evolution of dark, guitar-driven music. The result is a record that lingers long after the final note fades. Engineered by THE SECRECY, Pins & Needles was mixed by Tyler Watkins, mastered by Corey Miller, and completed with art/layout by Ryan Dunn. Vocalist Dustin Boltjes writes, “This record is a collection of themes based on emotional highs and lows. An amalgamation of subjects and memories that never seem to leave my brain. Depravity and beauty, intertwined within consistent and chaotic thought patterns. Enjoy.” Stream THE SECRECY’s Pins & Needles early exclusively at New Noise Magazine HERE [link in bio/stories] https://newnoisemagazine.com/premieres/album-premiere-the-secrecy-pins-needles/ @thesecrecy777 @disorderdesignco @newnoisemagazine

In 2018, @chromewaves1 and @blakeylawless almost made Black Meddle Pt. III. This is the one piece of evidence this happened. Soon to be revisited and joined by three other tracks. Two bands becoming one. True collaboration. Soon. #nachtmystium #chromewaves #splitlp #hellfrozeover #blackmeddle

New TWILIGHT merch available from @disorderdesignco - these went up for order this evening. All proceeds are going to TWILIGHT vocalist & musical contributor / KRIEG main man Neill Jameson, who’s also an ex-member of Nachtmystium & played bass on & wrote a few of the song lyrics for ‘Instinct: Decay’. His wife is horribly ill and they need your support!! Neill and I have a difficult relationship but were, at one time, as close as brothers. I don’t wish what he’s going through on anyone, so all BS from the past aside - I’m asking anyone reading this who enjoyed the Twilight albums or just wants to help out, to please consider buying an item. Again - *all proceeds* go to his family for the undoubtedly massive medical bills they’re being faced with during this horrible time. Link to the shop where these are available can be found at the @disorderdesignco page here on IG in their linktree at the top of their page. Wishing @black_house_industries and his family well and hoping this post makes some difference in what’s able to be raised for them. #nachtmystium #twilightband #krieg #neilljameson #usbm
