👾 Before landing on the final identity, there were many different directions. These are some of the more refined explorations that helped shape the visual identity for Dissociate Festival. For this project, I wanted to push my graphic design practice in a new direction. I started exploring TouchDesigner with the knowledge I already had, a lot of tutorials, and plenty of trial and error. I also experimented with compositions, textures, typography and layers in Photoshop to bring these generative visuals into a graphic design language. Choosing the final identity wasn't easy. The Dissociate team and I spent a long time going back and forth between several concepts before finally settling on the direction we felt captured the spirit of the festival ( and my favorite one also) 🦋 These visuals are already the result of many iterations. I'll share some of the raw TouchDesigner experiments in my next post, so you can see where it all started. 👉 I'd love to know: which direction would you have chosen? Do you prefer the final identity, or one of these earlier explorations? Let me know 🥰😇 #TouchDesigner #GraphicDesign #VisualIdentity #TouchDesigner CreativeCoding ExperimentalDesign Typography PosterDesign ArtDirection CreativeProcess

Olaaa! 🌞 It’s been a long long time ! But i back to show you the visual identity I created for Dissociate Festival, which unfortunately got cancelled before it could happen. 🫠 Even though the festival won't take place, I still wanted to share this project because it marked a new chapter in my design practice. It was one of my first opportunities to explore graphic design through generative art using TouchDesigner. Building visual systems instead of static images completely changed the way I approached composition, texture and iteration, and opened up a whole new creative playground. Looking forward to taking this approach even further. Would u like to see some of my experiments that led to the final design?

Bvd Louis Blanc
