Powering the event this Saturday we have Timi. So excited to welcome you all down to @thesouthbankclub its going to be a beautiful evening ❤️ Down to final release tickets , see you soon! When was Timi built ? TiMi (as we know him now) was conceived in 2023. At that time, I was attending SUBDUB dances in Leeds which got me very excited about the idea of running a small sound. In Hyde Park, where I was living, there was also a massive demand for sound systems for house parties. TiMi was the answer to this, because we could fit him in a car and set him up in 20 minutes. Whats the story behind the speakers ? When I started to think about building the sound, I asked my dad about his very storied pair of 1980s Zeck 15.3 PA speakers. Since the early 90s, he had used them to power countless Bristol house parties and had also toured them as stage monitors with some legendary Bristol bands. Those speakers form the main part of TiMi, and always will (purely because of sentimental value). TiMi is far from perfect, but that’s why we like him. The rest of the system came naturally over the next year. I first designed and built a subwoofer, and then a tweeter box with a reclaimed high frequency horn to match the 80s style. 🚨 Wednesday 6th May 🚨 9pm to 11pm BST Join Bristol based Azure for the Breakneck Frequencies show. Azure has been on the DJ circuit since 2017. Starting as a dub & reggae collector inspired by his upbringing, Azure gravitated towards jungle through putting on nights associated with jungle revival heroes Western Lore. Since 2019, Azure has been a co-conspirator behind jungle event brand Dissonance, alongside ADM, where they continue to contribute to Bristol's ecstatic dance music scene. Azure is a vinyl only DJ who has mainly built his record collection with old skool dance music from the early nighties, inspired by going to raves such as Distant Planet in London. With upcoming dates at festivals including AnExperience & Shambala, Azure is as keen as ever to deliver great underground tunes to the masses! Two years ago I got an invite to join Infrared.Fm and jumped at the opportunity to join lots of my favourite djs and friends. I play first wednesday of the month from 9pm-11pm and my shows are always a mixture of old skool tunage all on vinyl ranging from 1990-1997 (some new stuff thrown in the too ofc). Plenty of chat on the mic aswell. Part of what I love about infrared is the chatroom which allows the presenters to directly engage with their listeners and feels more present and tangible. Long live Infrared! You can catch me playing this Saturday 9th May at Dissonances 4th annual boat party extravaganza! followed by an after party at the Crown. Download the app links on the site or search the app store for infrared.fm https://www.infrared.fm/ https://www.infrared.fm/chat

Hello crew 👋 I'm back from my honeymoon travels in Canada, now getting excited for Dissonance's 4th annual boat party (+afters) coming up on May 9th 🚢 1st slide is a picture of me and the legend @mope3 wearing the same hoodie putting on my first ever jungle boat party in Bristol (circa 2019?) for Western Lore. Photos like these remind me of why the boat party is such an amazing time, sharing these moments with friends, great music and family all around! Come get involved in that experience, rave whilst the sun goes down on the Avon, get yerr sea legs on! On top of that we have some of the best selectors throwing down vinyl sets,on the glorious TiMi Sound System, including breakbeat scientist Dev/Null from the USA, @dpravecrew legends Louise +1 & Hughesee , and sets from me and homeboy @adm_dissonance ! Boat party is 6pm - 9pm but wait!... Don't forget the party doesn't stop there as we head to @thecrownvenuebristol for our inaugural event there from 10pm til 3am featuring the same line up plus additional sets from @gracejetwolfe and a second room hosted by @sugarandspicerave (line up tba) There's only about 15 boat party tickets left as it's very small capacity but after party tickets are being sold separately starting at £5 right now on headfirst! Big ups all the crew already supporting and continuing to ❤️

Celebrating 30 years of the icon that is @keziahwallis at @thecroftbristol on Friday for a @sugarandspicerave x @dissonance.bristol extra spesh, with our lesser known festival fun time ensemble 4FingerDiscount 😶‍🌫️ This is also an insanely late bday appreciation post, or not late at all as we celebrate (again) on Friday? I absolutely cannot imagine my life without you in it now, getting to know you and share parts of our world with each other has been a friggen blast (this actually does sound like you’re my wife wife now 😂) This woman is the hostess with the mostest, the realest real one (sucks to be you if she doesn’t like you 😝) and is always there with sage advice and some snacks to go with it. I love you bish! Then Saturday we celebrate {redacted} years of Mr Dixon @dixon__remix (Sir Dixon to you) at @plougheaston ! Back A Yard residents myself and @synthia_spins at Everyone’s favourite local Don’t chat to me about no poster 🐬🔮😆

🎂 DISSONANCE 7TH BIRTHDAY 🎂 From the very beginning, our aim has been simple: bringing the finest jungle music to the dancefloors of Bristol — and it’s been such a vibe along the way 😁 Our journey began in the caves of Cosies, with stops at The Island and Lost Horizon along the way, plus some unforgettable moments dancing and floating on Bristol's waterways ⛵ Recently, we’ve linked up with Strange Brew, which is quickly becoming our favourite space yet.. Over the years we’ve been blessed with some truly incredible artists performing with us, from the freshest faces on the block, to the OG pioneers 🔊 Just as important as the music has been the community — a growing family of like-minded people who showed up, trusted the process, and made the nights what they are, you are all champions 🏆 Over the years, those connections have turned into countless memorable moments shared with the very best of humans, we have so much love and thanks for all the extended Dissonance family and everyone who has graced the dancefloor with us ❤️ So for our 7th birthday, we couldn’t imagine a better artist than @sully.e64 to roll through and help us celebrate, someone we've been looking to book since the beginning - get ready to go on a deep journey through his extended 90 minute set 🔥 Holding it down the rest of the night, we have the pristine sounds and premium selections of @djdeseselecta, @synthia_spins, me and my brudda @willdjazure 🥳 🎟️ This one's looking to sell out — final release tickets available via Headfirst. 📅 Friday 30.01.2026, 10.30pm–3am 🔥 Love ya
