Artistpresentation VI: An electrical charge runs through everything @lucin.ee transmits. Her music productions and DJ sets carry a peak-time urgency, blending hypnotic synth lines and driving drums with deeper, atmospheric moments. These sparks can easily ignite huge spaces, festival stages, the great techno institutions of the world, but they also carry subtlety and balance which looks for something deeper than the one-dimensional banger.

Born and based in Berlin with german and armenian-iranian roots, Lucinee has earned her respected position within the global techno scene by investing herself in the fundamentals of club culture, making notable appearances in clubs like Tresor, Berghain’s fabled Säule and formats like Boiler Room. In 2025, she founded @distant.lifeforms, an interdisciplinary music label that also serves as the name of her modular live-set project in collaboration with Lifka.

Her productions serve as a natural extension of her open approach to DJing: vibrant jams comfortably housed on labels from Berlin institution BPitch through to EXHALE and Space Trax, just to name a few. In her hands, the tenets of classic trance and techno are handled with exacting poise, drawing on their immersive, psychoactive power to create a trip as subtle as it is impactful.

Upcoming mix – Lucinee

PODCAST OUT ON JULY 24th, 2026

For our next podcast, we’re thrilled to welcome @lucin.ee, a Berlin-based DJ and producer whose sound seamlessly blends hypnotic techno, driving rhythms and atmospheric depth.

For AÜRA, Lucinee delivers an immersive journey through rolling basslines, hypnotic synths and organic textures, unfolding with subtle emotional tension and moments of delicate melancholy.

With releases on @bpitch.berlin, @exhaleofc, @space.trax, and her own label @distant.lifeforms, which she launched to give her sound a home of its own, Lucinee has quietly built a catalogue that speaks for itself. 📀📀📀

Distant Lifeforms is the joint project of techno artists Lucinee and Lifka - a hardware live act and label rooted in raw, trippy and emotionally driven club music. Their performances and releases dive deep into hypnotic techno like trance elements and high-pressure grooves, always shaped live and in the moment.
As a label, Distant Lifeforms extends their shared vision into a multidisciplinary platform for sound, aesthetics and collaboration
