my band and i have a South African mashup cover that we do at shows as a tribute to local music & to the beautiful people who fill the rooms when we do live shows. surreal to fast forward a few years ahead and still be faced with the utopia of serendipity coupled with hard work over many years! this was a beautiful audience - THANK YOU 🦻💖

what a blessing to have these moments recorded
thank you: @erin_drayton @smile904fm @bernelee_k & @the_sigh_guyy

𝓓𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓖𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓵𝓮 𝓡𝓮𝓪𝓭𝓮𝓻,

The whispers have reached even the halls of the Palace, and Her Majesty herself has taken an interest in the festivities to come.

It seems the Queen is searching for a true Diamond of the Season; one whose elegance, wit, confidence, and presence outshine all others.

🎭 Calling all Drag Queens, Drag Kings & Burlesque Performers!

Will you embody the intrigue of Lady Whistledown?
The commanding grace of Lady Danbury?
The refined sophistication of Lord Bridgerton?
Or perhaps the wonderfully eccentric charm of King George?

Each contestant shall compete within their chosen runway category, but take heed... only one performer will ultimately earn the Queen's highest honour.

👑 At the stroke of midnight, Her Majesty will crown the overall winner as the one and only Diamond of the Season.

✨ Runway Categories
💎 Lady Whistledown – Props
👑 King George – Camp, Quirky & Comedy
🤵 Lord Bridgerton – Best Tux
👗 Viscountess Bridgerton – Best Gown
✨ Lady Danbury – Elegance & Royal Attire

Every performer shall remain masked until the Queen presents the coveted title, ensuring that no one knows who the Diamond truly is until the grand reveal.

📍 District, Cape Town
📅 18 July 2026
🕘 From 9 PM

Society will be watching. The Queen will be judging.

The only remaining question is...

Will you be the one crowned the Diamond of the Season?

Yours truly,
Lady Whistledown 💋
